Mr. Willie Moye

MOYE, Mr. Willie - Age 67, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Genesys Health Park in Grand Blanc, MI. Family hour 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Our Savior Apostolic Church, 1502 E. Bennett St., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Burnetta D. Driver, officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the church 10:00 a.m. Saturday. Mr. Moye will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd and may be viewed 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday. Deacon Willie Sims Moye was born August 17, 1949 in Warren, Ohio, the son of Charlie Sr. and Ada Moye. He was raised in Macon, GA and moved Flint, Michigan in 1964. Willie became a member of Our Savior Apostolic Church in 1974. He graduated from Mott Community College with an Apprentice Certificate. Willie has been a Brick Layer since the age of 15. He loved working and making sure the bricks were layed correctly. He loved being with his family especially his BFF, Angelica. Willie also loved helping people. Deacon Willie Sims Moye leaves to cherish his memory: 2 daughters, Angelica Moye and Victoria (Napolian); 2 sons, Antonio (Tangela) Fluker, Sr., all of Flint and Patrick Fluker of Ionia, MI; 8 grandchildren, Tiarance (Markeda) Paylor, Brandon (Anetta) Connor, Porsha Fluker, Antonio Fluker, Jr., Dominique Sullivan, Ametra Fluker, Patrick Fluker, Jr. and Akeah Fluker; 9 great-grandchildren, Kyla, Tiara, Tiarance, Za’Breah, Madisyn, Za’nisee, Cartez, Brandon Jr., and Sani; step-mother, Annie Te Moye; 4 sisters, Mamie Watson, Glenda Moye, Patricia (Daryl) Kendricks, and Patricia Mickens; 3 brothers, Henry Moye, Joseph (Rose) Moye, and Gleen (Patricia) Moye; mother and father-in-law, Annie May and John Lee Paylor; brother-in-law, Johnny (Earlene) Paylor; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special friends, Ron Johnson, Bill Sanchez, Dave Ross, and Min. Strozier. Deacon Moye was preceded in death by his wife, Earnestine Moye; granddaughter, Kamisha Fluker; parents, Charlie Sr. and Ada Moye; brother, Charlie Moye, Jr. The family would like to express special thanks to University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor, MI, and the nurses at Genesys / Hurley Cancer Center.
