LLOYD, Mr. Willie Jr. - Age 70, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020 at McLaren-Flint. Family hour 1:30 PM Saturday, September 26, 2020 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM. Dr. Corey James, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Chapel 1:30 PM Saturday. Mr. Lloyd will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Friday. Mr. Willie Lloyd Jr. “Bud” age 70, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020. Willie was born November 29, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan where he was raised, the son of Willie and Willie B. Lloyd. He was a resident of Flint, Michigan. Willie was a football player at Northwestern High School and immediately following graduation, he was employed at General Motors Corporation where he retired in 2003. He was a faithful member of Community Impact Church, Pastor Corey James. Willie enjoyed hanging with his family, fishing, grilling and playing Dominoes. Mr. Willie Lloyd Jr. “Bud” leaves to cherish his memory: 2 daughters, Alvena (Starsky) Lloyd and Shannon (Donald) Wells; son, Alphonso Lloyd; step-daughter, Lisa Anderson; sister, Venita Dudley; brother, Phillip Lloyd; 11 grandchildren, Lawrence, Letrice, Kieara, Brittney, Tony, Miy’Osha, Octavia, Alize, Randy “Tuba”, Jacquell and Jasmine; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces, Lashaunda (Marion) Mosely and Ashley Lloyd; 3 nephews, David Dudley, Rudolph “Lil D” and Donelle Lloyd; 1 great-nephew; sister-in-law, Doris Lloyd; mother of his children, Margaret Lloyd; special friend and companion, Patricia Cunningham; best-friend, Harry McClain “Grave Digger”; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends like sisters, Robert “Bert" Flowers, Faye “Fannie” Houston “god-sister”. Mr. Lloyd was preceded in death by his son, parents, grandparents, brother, nieces, brother-in-law, and great-niece. The family would like to express special thanks to RC Dialysis, Health Source Health Care, McLaren-Flint, Pastor James and special grandson, Randy Brock “Tuba”.
