HOWARD, Mr. William Eldridge - Age 72, passed away, Friday August 19, 2005 at his residence. Family hour 12Noon Friday August 26, 2005 at New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church, 1035 E. Carpenter Rd., with funeral service commencing at 1PM. Min. Jerome Latchison officiating. Bishop Odis A. Floyd, Pastor. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 12Noon Friday. Mr. Howard will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Thursday. Mr. William Eldridge Howard was born July 2, 1933 in New Albany, Mississippi the son of Wesley and Alzadie (Ware) Howard Mr. Howard had been a resident of Flint since 1954. He was a faithful member of the church and choir and van driver of Holy Hill C.O.G.I.C., until his health began to fail. William worked for Ware Asphalt and Paving, Conerly Trucking, General Motors, Buick Division and Ryder Automobile. He loved driving trucks and the outdoors. He had a special love for his children. Mr. William Eldridge Howard leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Gwendolyn Howard of Flint; 7 daughters, Mary Pat (Chester) Moore, Ava Rene' Howard (Bruce Blackburn), Rhonda (Marlon) Lowe, Trina Powell of Flint, Linda Nene' (Gary) Bracy of Detroit, Pamela (Charles) McBride of Fort Wayne, IN, Jacqueline Davis (Arthur House) of Atlanta, GA; 5 sons, Christian Davis of Flint, Dennis (Connie) Howard, Roderick Howard (Vikki Douglas), Derrick Relerford of Flint, Michael (Juanita) Horton of Scottsdale, AZ; 28 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Modistine (Edward) Townsend of Flint, Luvetra (Elijah) Crawley of Chicago, IL, Edoyle Bobo of Memphis, TN, Maxine Black of Los Angles, CA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; uncle, Roy Howard of Beloit, WI; step-mother-in-law, Jean Latchinson; 3 sisters-in-law, Carolyn (Lloyd) Brown of Lancaster, TX, Lillie (Lewis) Fenderson of Chesterfield, MO, Mary Howard of Flint; 5 brothers-in-law, David (Rose) Latchison, Jerome (Audrey) Latchinson, Jimmy Collins, Timothy Latchinson of Flint, Rudolph Patterson of Saginaw, MI; a host of other relatives and friends including special friend and former wife, Rose Howard. Mr. William Eldridge Howard was preceded in death by his son; parents; 2 sisters; brother and father-in-law. The family would like to express special thanks to Heartland Hospice, Dr. E.
