BROWN, Mr. William III "Jeff" - Age 52, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Hurley Medical Center. Family Hour 10:00 AM Friday, March 21, 2025 at St. Paul Baptist Church, 2115 Coldwater Rd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Rev. Samuel Berry Sr., officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:00 AM Friday. Mr. Brown will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and may be viewed Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM with family present from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM to receive friends. Mr. William Brown III “Jeff” was born March 18, 1972 in Flint, Michigan, the son of William and Helen Brown. William was a resident of Mt. Morris, Michigan. He was a member of God’s Grace Ministries International where he served on the Security Ministry. William graduated from Flint Northern High School, “Class of 1990.” He was employed as a Cement Liner at American Spiral Weld Pipe-Flint. William enjoyed fishing, grilling and smoking a variety of meats. He also enjoyed going out to eat, comedy shows and spending time with family. William was a man of few words with a loving heart. William departed this life on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Hurley Medical Center. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends and many more whose lives were touched by him. Mr. William Brown III leaves to cherish his memory: wife of seven years, Rulonda Brown of Mt. Morris, MI; daughter, Aaliyah Brown; son, Jeff Brown; 2 step-children, D’Aries Richardson and Jakayla Richardson; 2 grandchildren, Ah’Marion Brown and Kartier Brown, all of Flint; loving parents, William and Helen Brown; 2 sisters, Jekeeta (Samuel Sr.) Berry of Auburn Hills, MI and Wendy Green of Fairburn, GA; a host of niece, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; father and mother-in-law, Dennis and Lona Boykins of Flushing, MI; 3 brothers-in-law, Dennis (Felecia) Boykins of Grand Blanc, MI, Anthony Boykins and Dominic Boykins, both of Flint; a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jeff and Lydia McGinister; paternal grandparents, William and Pearlie Brown; and special friend, Demetrius “Meechie” Davis. The family would like to express special thanks to Pulaski Street Brotherhood; Kenny, Dennis, Denzell, Austin and Maurice; Tom Anderson and American Spiral Weld Pipe family.
