LOVE, Mrs. Will Ella - Age 64, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 11AM Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 2115 W. Coldwater Rd., with funeral service commencing at 12Noon, Pastor Michael Pettigrew officiating. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11AM Wednesday. Mrs. Love will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Tuesday. Mrs. Will Ella Love "Will" was born November 30, 1943 to the late Mr. Will Henry and Mrs. Matthew (Moore) Hervey in Greenwood, Mississippi, where she accepted Christ early into her life. Growing up she was close with her siblings (8 brothers & 7 sisters), and had a classify bond with each of them. "Will" graduated from Amanda Elzy High School "Class of 1964". She started employment at Baldwin Piano Company. Later marrying former husband Robert E. Love in 1968. "Will" lived in Los Angeles, CA briefly, and then relocated to Chicago, IL, where she was formerly employed at Steward Warner. She was a member of Jordan Temple Baptist Church in Chicago. In 1981 she moved to Flint, MI. "Will" joined St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, where she was an active choir member and served as choir president for over 20 years. There she met and loved dearly her church family as well as our extended family. Also the entire Lewis family united through Ms. Mildred Lewis Straham aka "Sista", and daughters, Mr. Wills Jr. "Bro" and Barbara Lewis. She became their personal assistant/nanny. "The Boys" were a great joy to her she possessed a relationship with them and a special one with Tim. In the process of "The Boys" growing to men she worked for Pro Clean Cleaners. "Will" met lots of people and touched many of them with genuine concern and love all the while Glorifying the Lord. She leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Francine "France" Love; son, Robert W. "Main" Love; grandchildren, Darquiese L. "Dee" Love, Harmony D. "Sweetie" Love, Dai?veya C. "Hey BaBa" Wright and David C. "D.J." Wright, Jr.; 3 brothers, James Moore of Greenwood, MS, Richard Hervey of Hattiesburg, MS and Steve (Lyndia) Hervey of Flint; 4 sisters, Louise Shaw of Mt. Morris, MI, Lois R. Robinson of Maywood, IL and Judy C. Hervey of Flint; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Love was preceded in death by her 3 brothers and 4 sisters. The family would like to express special thanks to Darrell L. Walker, Debra Hayes, Usher Board #4, Pastor Kenneth L. Stewart and House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church family.
