HARRIS, Mr. Waymond Eli Sr. - Age 80, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021 in Clarkston, MI. Mr. Harris will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. The family welcomes donations to: The Alzheimer's Association of Greater Michigan as an expression of sympathy instead of flowers” Mr. Waymond Eli Harris Sr. was born February 23, 1941 in Cornerville, Arkansas, the son of Willie Frank and Bama Harris. Waymond was a resident of Holly, Michigan and attended New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church. He was employed by General Motors Corporation for over 32 years. Waymond loved to travel, play cards and spend time with his children and grandchildren making everyone around him laugh. Mr. Waymond Eli Harris Sr. leaves to cherish his memory: wife of over 55 years, Leola Harris of Holly, MI; 2 daughters, Kayren Janeene Harris (LeRoy Jackson) of Milwaukee, WI and Kimberly Harris (Robert II) Watson of Sagamore Hills, OH; son, Waymond “Rusty” (Angela) Harris Jr. of West Bloomfield, MI; 2 granddaughters, Amarah Harris and Harper Harris, both of West Bloomfield, MI; 2 grandsons, Larry Harris of Milwaukee, WI and Robert Watson III of Sagamore Hills, OH; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Annie Jean (Earl) Ridgell and Elizabeth Harris; brother, James (Bernestine) Harris; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Rev. Anthony Floyd and the entire Floyd family, Ethel and Niley Rosemond, Geneva Akins, Rene Ervin, Bethena Thomas, Tenita “Shae” Kelly, the Toliver and Adams family, Sammie and Brenda Jordan.Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Frank and Bama Harris; sisters, Carrie, Clara, Anna Bernice and Eura Lee; brothers, Johnnie Lee, Howard, Walter, Frank Jr., Lawrence, Marion “Buster”, Aurthur, George, Thomas, OV, Charles and Fred.
