Warren Burns

BURNS, Mr. Warren - Age 70, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2007 at his residence. Family hour 10:30AM Monday, July 23, 2007 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with the memorial service commencing immediately at 11AM. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home 10:30AM Monday. There will be no public viewing. Mr. Warren C. Burns was born July 9, 1937 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Marshall Burns, Sr. and Ann Burns. Warren was a resident of Mt. Morris, MI. He attended Flint Public Schools and was a member of Central High School Varsity Swim Team. He received his GED while serving in the United States Air Force and Associates Degree from Mott Community College. Warren was an Honorable Discharged Veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1955-1959. He worked at A.C Spark Plug a Division of General Motors and was a member of UAW Local #651 and later worked as Autocad designer. Warren hobbies included hunting, fishing and photography. He also enjoyed using his computer and loved cooking. Warren was fun-loving with a great sense of humor and loved spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Warren C. Burns leaves to cherish his memory: 2 daughters, Angela Burns of Seattle, WA and Rochelle Burns of Ypsilanti, MI; son, Kevin Burns of Seattle, WA; grandsons, Arvell Jr., Jalen, Mark and Dauran; 3 sisters, Meredith Barker, Dianne (Paul) Montgomery both of Flint and Carolyn (Eugene) Smith of Bradenton, FL; 2 brothers, James Burns of Davison, and Kenneth (Dettanya) Burns of Flushing; aunt, Charlotte (Charles) Williams; 4 cousins, Charlita Walker, Charles Williams, Jr., Cathryn Sanders and Judy Williams; sister-in-law, Blanche Burns; nieces and nephews, Jill Orr, Dawn Capers, William, Brian, Gregory and Christian Burns, Tracey Courts, Sonji Brown, Tomika Allen, Micheal, Renee and Laurie Barker and Duane Williams; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Terri (Vicki) George and Robert (Tomie May) Crawford. Mr. Burns was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Ann Burns, Sr.; brother, Marshall Burns, Jr.
