WILSON, Mr. Walter Billey Jr. - Age 66, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at his residence. Family hour 10:00 AM Friday, July 18, 2025 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park, Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the chapel 10:00 AM, Friday, July 18, 2025. Mr. Wilson will lie in state in the Chapel and may be viewed Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Mr. Walter Billey Wilson Jr. was born November 13, 1958 in Flint, Michigan, the son of the late Walter B. Sr. and Annie B. Wilson. Walter was a life long resident of Flint and graduated from Flint Northwestern High School, “Class of 1978.” He worked at Flint Truck & Bus, a division of General Motors Corporation and was a member of UAW Local #598 for over 25 years. He retired in 2002. Mr. Wilson then started his own cleaning service called “Wilson Janitorial Service.” Walter loved playing music and going to the casino. He also loved playing with his C.B. Radio. I’m sure a lot of people in the neighborhood heard him through your TV’s and house phones. His Handle was “38” Around The Great Lakes. He also loved watching NASCAR Races. Walter loved his wife of 28 years, the late Anita Anderson-Wilson. They were high school sweethearts and shared wonderful memories together. “They will now be together forever.” Mr. Walter Billey Wilson Jr. leaves to cherish his memory: 3 beautiful daughters, Quinnita Shamika Anderson (Kevin Ross), Sharika Walnita Wilson and Aquisha Shamone Wilson; 3 grandchildren, De’montay Scott, Zaria Harper and Khari Ross, all of Flint;1 bonus grandchild, Davonyah; sister, Ida Mae Jefferson of Crawford, MS; brother, Jackie (Jimola) Wilson of Flushing, MI; nieces, Chanteau Wilson of Crawford, MS; 4 nephews, Tyvedia Wilson of Columbus, MS, Montre Wilson, Corey Wilson, both of Flushing, MI and Jamir Jefferson of Crawford, MS; uncle, Larry (Emma) Cunningham of Flushing, MI; 4 special cousins, Larry Wilson, Oscar Harris III, Marquas Harris and Felisha (Tywan) Feimster of Fint Twp., MI; mother-in-law, Queenie L. Anderson; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Yvette) Anderson, all of Flint; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Clifton Sykes, and Johnny Mack Williams. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Jo Anderson-Wilson; mother, Annie B. Wilson; father, Walter b. Wilson Sr.; sister, Arlene Wilson; aunt, Annie M. Harris; uncle, Oscar Harris Jr.; and father-in-law, Joseph Anderson.
