STEWART, Mrs. Vivian Ann - Age 60, passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at Heartland Health Care Center-Briarwood. Family hour 10:00 AM Monday, June 10, 2019 at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, 6415 N. Clio Rd., Mt. Morris, MI., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM Pastor Wallace Hill III, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:00 AM Monday. Mrs. Stewart will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Sunday with the family present from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM to recieve friends. Ms. Vivian Ann Stewart, age 60 passed away peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Heartland Briarwood, surrounded by her friends and family. Vivian was born August 5, 1958 in Columbus, Arkansas, to John and Ardean Souder, moving to Flint, Michigan at an early age. She grew up as a member of Foss Ave Baptist Church, later joining New Jerusalem FGBC where she served as a member for 42 years, until she joined Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Vivian graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1977. Vivian enjoyed all types of music and loved to dance. Vivian was well known for having a keen memory, she remembered all of her friends and families birthdays and anniversaries and when that date came, you were definitely going to get a call or text from her. She was a kind, loving and generous person. She loved traveling throughout the city on Your Ride and going to Old Country Buffet to eat and socialize with the staff and her friends. Vivian leaves to cherish her memory and will be missed by her friends and family: father, Mr. John Souder, Sr.; grandson’s, Javontae and Donnavin Stewart; two sisters, Beverly Harris and Lisa (Howard) Stuart, all of Flint; two brother’s, Gregory Hindman of Riverdale, IL and John Souder, Jr of Clio, MI; brothers in law, Gregory Harris and Theo Starr; nieces, Dominque, Ebonie, Brittany and Brandi; nephews, JasAntonio, Deonta, Gregory II, and Brandon; uncle, William (Shirley) Souder of Sherwood, AR; aunt Luestle Houston of Flint; goddaughters; Tomeka Webster, Santinka Long and Lashanda Mansfield; special friends, Tina Moreland, Anthlean McIntosh, Darlene Long, Denise Bell, Loretta Loving, Lorene Bryant, Valerie Toles and Cora Isom; a host of cousins, friends and family. Vivian was preceded in death by: son, DeQunidre Stewart; mother, Ardean Souder; grandparents, Daisy and Harden Hindman, William and Letha Souder; sisters in law, Debra Starr and Delois Hindman; close friends, Mitchell Carter and Charles Thomas.
