NELSON, Mr. Vincent - Age 57, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025 in Macon, Georgia. Mr. Nelson was born to Charles McClinton and Gloria (Nelson, McClinton) Brown. Family hour 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Pastor Blake Strozier, officiating. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the chapel 10:00 AM Tuesday. Mr. Nelson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Monday, with family present from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM to receive friends. Flint Community Schools is where Vincent received his diploma and cultivated lasting friendships that extended into adulthood. In the spirit of honorary mention, he was never afraid to color outside the lines and probably learned more outside the classroom than in it; he was a student of life. Mr. Nelson’s classmates remember him as being easygoing, loyal, comfortable in any social setting, charming and a great conversationist; he easily impacted the lives of those he interacted with. Vincent is deeply missed by his fiancée, Christalyn Madison, the love of his life who was a constant source of love and support. They travelled, laughed a lot and raised their family together. He and Christalyn consciously worked to make each moment enjoyable and memorable. With family and friends from coast to coast, Vincent knew everyone! Distance didn’t keep him from visiting or calling to check in. He especially looked forward to spending time with his son, bonus daughter and grandchildren. He held a high esteem for his family and loved them dearly, especially, his mother who meant the world to him. Vincent worked as a Forklift Driver at Kumho Tire in Macon, Georgia, where he was no stranger to hard work. His co-workers expressed he was an invaluable part of their team, always helpful, and they appreciated his enthusiasm and contagious personality. Vincent had a sweet tooth and was a food connoisseur. He enjoyed traveling, spending time with loved ones, and any time he headed out to the docks to go fishing, was a perfect day. However, his number one thing to do was play poker! He never said he was good at it, but he loved it! He also had dreams of purchasing a blue, fully loaded Maserati with a personalize plate titled, ALL IN, which further displays his admiration for poker. Now, he’s driving his stunning Maserati in Heaven.
