Mr. Vincent Shane Fielder

FIELDER, Mr. Vincent Shane - Age 59, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 at his residence. Family hour 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM Pastor Chad Jamerson officiating. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, 5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:00 AM Tuesday. Mr. Fielder will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM Monday. Mr. Vincent Shane Fielder was born October 26, 1957 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Floyd Leonardo Vincent Fielder and Patricia Cartner. He was a lifelong resident of Genesee Township, MI. Shane attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and was a graduate of Powers High School “Class of 1975.” After learning how to play the bass guitar from his cousin, Craig. Mr. Fielder went on to become an accomplished musician. His biggest passion was music. One of the highlights of his career was writing the theme song, “Iced Tea” for the major motion picture, “The Big Score” song by, Dizzy Gillespie. His other love was working with his father, Floyd Fielder at Berston Field House and establishing the Floyd Fielder Institute. He was also the founder and owner of Gold Track’s Studio. Mr. Fielder loved life and lived it “His Way.” Mr. Vincent Shane Fielder leaves to cherish his memory: loving partner, Angela Lab; daughters, Cyndia (Eugene) Tedford-Leonard of Atlanta, GA, Sharine Fielder (Deshontrel) of Mt. Morris, MI, Dominque (Ricky) Banister of Wichita Falls, TX and Tanisha Crawford of Flint; sons, Vincent Shane Fielder II, Vincent Shane Fielder III and Justin E. Newby; brothers, Kevin (Vicky) Fielder of Oregon and Zackery (Connie) Fielder of California; cousins, Maurice (Jackie) Fielder , Sharon Fielder, Harold Fielder, all of Flint, Craig (Stephanie) Fielder of Maryland, Tina Fielder-Gibson (Thomas) of Tennessee, April Fielder of New York; 32 grandchildren; 8 nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Fielder was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Leonardo Vincent Fielder; step-mother, Bette Fielder; grandparents, Grady and Mary Fielder; brother Floyd Fielder Jr.; uncles and aunts, Clifford (Della) Fielder, Harold (Arsenia)Fielder; cousins, Marc, Janice, Guy Fielder, Betty Yankee and Zandra Fielder. The family would like to express special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. William (Hannelore) Lab, the Peterson, Jamerson and Evans families.
