Vienna Willis

WILLIS, Mrs. Vienna - Age 53, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Family hour 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Joy Tabernacle Church, 2505 N. Chevrolet Ave., with funeral service commencing at 1 p.m., Pastor R. Sherman McCathern officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the church 12:30 p.m. Thursday. Mrs. Willis will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd, and may be viewed from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Vienna M. (Lee) Willis was born September 18, 1956 in Flint, the daughter of Lorraine Lee. Vienna attended Flint Northwestern High School. She was retired from Fisher Body I and was a member of UAW Local 581. Vienna was currently employed by the Admiral Gas Station. She was a faithful member of Joy Tabernacle Church where she served at President of the Usher Board. Mrs. Willis leaves to cherish precious memories: 2 daughters; Carla (Ellis) Haley and Daytrella (Kenneth) Psalms; son, De’Ante (Porshe’) Willis, all of Flint; 9 grandchildren, ChaQuita (Marc) Lee, Le’Nice (Roy) Brown, Reginald (Lakiesha) Lee, Qaellis Haley-Branch, DaQuandra Lee-Vaughn, Je’Tia Haley, Kenneth Psalms, Jr., and E’Onia Haley and Ellis Haley III of New York; 4 great-grandchildren, Duane, Jamia, Ja’Marion and J’onta; mother, Lorraine Lee; stepfather, Larance (Barbara) Dedrick; 2 brothers, Robert (Brenda) Lee, Jr. and Lawrence Lee, all of Flint; 3 nieces, LaShawn (Antonio) Lee, Deidra Lee and Ky’ecia Lee; 4 nephews, Joe (Krista) Lee, Dedrick (Yolanda) Watkins, Ja’Irre Lee and Lawrence Lee, Jr.; aunt, Geraldine Roberts; cousin, Leroy Turner, Jr.; brother-in-law, Frankie McDowell; god-daughter, Romeegan Norman; a host of other relatives and friends, including special friends, Lottie Smith and family, Willie (Betty) Snell, Sis. Adams, Sis. Harris and Tarika Alexander. Mrs. Willis was preceded in death by her father, Robert N. Lee, Sr.; and sisters, Elizabeth McDowell and Jetawyn Lee. The family would like to express special thanks to Pastor R.
