ODOM, Ms. Victoria - Age 37, passed away Monday, June 7, 2010 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Ebenezer Ministries, 2130 S. Center Rd., with funeral service commencing at 12Noon, Min. Harry Prince officiating, Senior Pastor Urundi Knox, Pastor. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11 a.m. Tuesday. Ms. Odom will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8 p.m. Monday. Ms. Victoria Irene Odom was born February 18, 1973 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Corine Odom. Victoria was a member of Ebenezer Ministries, where she served on the Senior Usher Board. She was a woman of great faith and had received Christ as her Lord and Savior. Victoria received her Associate degree from Mott Community College in Criminal Justice and was expecting to receive her Bachelor degree in the winter semester of 2010 in Criminal Justice. She was a person full of enthusiasm and determination to complete whatever she started. Victoria had a zestful personality and loved her family dearly. She leaves to cherish her memories: 4 beautiful children, son, Danlante D. Odom; 3 daughters, Exinnay N. Brown, Tyrin B. Odom and Justis A. Odom; mother, Corine Odom; brother, Darron (Antoinette L. Brown) Odom, all of Flint; sister, Jennifer R. Odom of Memphis, TN; nieces, JaQuaya Y. Stevenson and Octavia N. Brown, both of Flint; nephews, Percy S. Dendy of Memphis, TN and Da’Marion C. Odom of Flint; aunts, Emmarine Odom, Mattie (Otto) Brown, Effie (Jim) Billups, all of Mississippi, Sarah (James) Macon of Cleveland, OH; uncles, Nora (Marie) Odom of California, Sam Odom, Henry (Catherine) Odom, all of Mississippi, Henry (Betty) Moore of Sandusky, OH; children grandparents, Beverly (James) Henley of Flint; a host of other relatives and friends including the Brown and Jackson families, Sandy Mushatt, special cousins, Hattie (Keith) Young, Claudeen Cuthpert and special friend, Annette (Warran) Marks. Ms. Odom was preceded in death by her father, Charles Burns; uncle, Lancester Gordon; and special friends, Janice Bracy and Jerome Cook.
