Mrs. Victoria Nash

NASH, Mrs. Victoria - Age 69, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, in Cleveland, OH. Family hour 10:00 AM Saturday, July 27, 2024, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment Gracelawn Cemetery, 5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:00 AM Saturday. Mrs. Nash will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Friday. Mrs. Victoria Denise Nash was born in December 22, 1954 at Hurley Hospital in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Damos and Watella Atkinson. Victoria attended Fairview Elementary, Lowell Jr. High, Flint Central High School and University of Michigan. She was employed at Landmark Grocery Store, Goodwill Industry, Pasadena Market and AARD. Victoria was a resident of Flint her entire life and attended Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church as a teenager. She served the Decorating Committee, Kitchen Committee, Usher Board and many other areas of the church. Victoria loved rummage sales. Her passion was sewing and working in her yard, and she was an awesome cook. Mrs. Victoria Denise Nash leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Ronnie Nash of Texarkana, AR; son, Twan (Jamelia) Nash; 2 step-children, D’Ron Nash and Ronesha Nash, both of Texarkana, AR; 4 grandchildren, Kiyosha Nash, Jasmyne, Detranese and Greg; 2 great-grandchildren, Za’Niyah and Za’Vonna; 2 sisters, Mercedes Atkins and Tammy (Tim) Peacock; brother, Philip Craig Atkinson; nieces, Tracy Atkinson, Tawana Polk (Micheal), Tonya Atkins, Shameka Marshall, Taisha Barnett, Alicia Crader and Asia Jourdan; nephews, Terry Atkinson, Javarrious Jourdan, Cameron Brandley, Marcell Simmons and Cameron Simmons; a host of cousins including special cousins, Joan Lewis of Macon, GA, Narotha Odgen, Yvonee McDougal, Robert Wilson of Grand Rapids, MI and Nona Adams of Cincinnati, OH; a host of other relatives and friends including, Louise Townsend, New Orleans family and the Wofford family in Flint. Mrs. Nash was preceded in death by her parents, Damos and Watella Atkins; Eric Paxton,Fantrese Wilson, Gwendolyn Suluki, Idella Joseph, Rose Mary Atkins, Aaron Wilson, Antoine Aaron, Susis Atkins, Falita Ogden, Brent Wofford, Myra Washington, Dawn Peterson, Wilbur Aaron and Hardy Aaron.
