HILL, Mrs. Victoria E. (Wilkinson) - Age 74, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 29025 at Serene Gardens of Grand Blanc, MI. Family hour 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Word of Life Christian Church, 460 W. Atherton Rd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM Pastor George Wilkinson, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:00 AM Tuesday. Mrs. Hill will be viewed during the family hour only. Pastor Victoria Hill, received her wings on May 21, 2025, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Rev. Hill’s body will lie in rest at Lawerence E. Moon Funeral Home. Pastor Victoria Hill was born in Flint, Michigan on November 13, 1950 to George W. And Betty Fullwood Wilkinson. Victoria was the third daughter of six children born to that union, and she was the apple of her daddy’s eye. Victoria was known as the “China Doll” of the family. The Wilkinson family attended Metropolitan Baptist Tabernacle Church with devotion and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. Victoria accepted Christ from a young age, and as she grew, her devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ became a guiding force in her life, shaping her journey with grace and purpose. Victoria received her education in Flint, Michigan, graduating from Flint Central High School in 1968. She later pursued higher education at The University of Michigan-Flint, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree. Victoria’s adult life was profoundly transformed by her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. She dedicated herself to studying the Word of God through Sunday School and Bible Study Fellowship, deepening her spiritual foundation. Her journey led her to Greater Works Bible School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she furthered her biblical education. She was actively involved in Raven Ministry of Pittsburgh, embracing her calling with devotion. Ordained to teach and preach the gospel, Pastor Victoria established her church, New Beginnings, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There, she faithfully shared the Word of God, guiding others in their spiritual walk. Victoria’s commitment to serving others extended into her professional career, where she worked at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center as an Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist. In this role, she trained parents and children to develop essential social communication skills, making a meaningful impact on countless families. Her dedication to the community was reflected in her involvement with various service initiatives, including Character Builders, a program designed to support children ages 7–11, and her role as a Board Member for Claudy’s House, an organization devoted to assisting developmentally disabled adults. While serving in the ushers’ ministry at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Flint, Victoria met the love of her life, Mr. Alvin B. Hill. Their deep connection led to a beautiful marriage that lasted 41 years. Together, Al and Victoria found joy in watching sporting events, especially cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates, worshipping the Lord, and enjoying praise music. Victoria’s greatest loves were her faith, her family, and the simple joy of walking, and reflecting on God’s grace. Victoria was preceded in death by her husband Alvin B. Hill, both parents George W. Wilkinson, Betty Galloway, step father Layton L. Galloway Sr, and her sister Claudette Wilkinson Bryant. Victoria is survived by her three sons of Pittsburg, PA Tyrone (Tiffany) Jenkins, Alvin Hill Jr., and Victor (Kathy) Hill). Victoria’s surviving siblings include, Rev. George (Sophia) Wilkinson of Grand Blanc, MI, Yvonne Goode, of Bowie, MD, Linda (Lennex) Burroughs of Flint, MI, and Donna (Rev. Stephen) Broden of DeSoto, TX. Grandchildren Tyree, Tymir, Tyrel, Tyreke, TaBrea, Elaina, Ariana, and Joe. Great-great grandchild: Peyton Special recognition to Stephanie Hill and Tiffany Jenkins for their devotion, love, and commitment to Victoria. A host of nephews, nieces, and cousins, friends, and New Beginnings members.
