Mrs. Verlen Jean Webb

WEBB, Mrs. Verlen Jean- Age 60, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 1:30pm Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM Pastor Ronnie Wiggins officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 PM Tuesday. Mrs. Webb will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM Monday. Mrs. Verlen Jean Webb was born November 30, 1955 to Samuel and Ethel Muldrew. She graduated from Flint Northwestern High School, “Class of 1973." Verlen then went on to become a Registered Nurse and was employed by McLaren Regional Medical Center. Verlen married Charles Webb and they enjoyed life. She was a fun loving mother, grandmother, and aunt who loved to travel, plan family trips, and go to the casino. Verlen was always willing to help when help was needed; she was a great listener and problem solver. Most of all she enjoyed her family. Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Webb; parents, Samuel and Ethel Muldrew; sister, Ethel Whitlow; brothers-in-law, Sam Webb and James Whitlow; nephews, Sidney Dion Muldrew and Anthony Bowen. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Duterte, the staffs of Hurley Medical Center ICU, McLaren-Flint, and RN Moon Hawa at Hurley.
