Mr. Ural Lee Watts

WATTS, Mr. Ural Lee - age 67, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Genesys Health Park-Grand Blanc, MI. Family hour 10 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Holy Hill Church Of God In Christ, 4323 Davison Rd., Burton, MI, with funeral services commencing at 11 a.m. Pastor James Snead officiating. Interment Lovedale Memorial Cemetery, G-5175 E. Bristol Rd. Burton, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10 a.m. Saturday. Mr. Watts will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12 noon-8 p.m. Friday. Mr. Ural Lee Watts Jackson, Jr. was born April 10, 1947 in West Memphis, Arkansas, the son of the late Ural Lee Jackson sr. and Bertha Lee Watts. He was a long time resident of Flint, MI, formerly from Memphis, Tennessee where he attended Mitchell Road High School. Ural confessed his faith for Christ at an early age. He loved the Lord, loved to read his bible and quote scripture and he was an avid missionary for Christ. Ural worked at Fisher Buick Plant and Temco in Flint for many years until his health failed. His children states “We were his Angels Grandchildren, encouragement, brave and dedicated to family, loved all of us.” His neighbor states that he help take care the less unfortunate and would help anyone in need. Ural was known to be a great and Godlike man. His love, knowledge and wisdom will always be remembered. Although his homecoming was unexpected, the family will always cherish the memories. (Samantha) Jackson III, Tyrone (Yolanda) Jackson, Tony Knight all of Flint, Benjuara (Meechee) Smith of Cypress, Texas and Ural Watts of ADA, Texas; 27 grandchildren, Rickisha (Dennis) Lloyd, April Jackson both of Toledo, Ohio, Hershal Miles, Rickie (Tiffany) Miles, Terry , Latechia Jackson, Steve Davis, Gina (Alex) Davis Jackson, Karlos, Jaron, Andréa Franklin, Danny Vinson, Sequoya Page, Gerone Lee, Lexington Kentucky, Sharanda Johnson, India Johnson, Ural L. Jackson IV, Tyrone M. Jackson, Tony, Equandra, Tyrone Jr., Dejon M. Jackson, Eshawn Woodward, all of Flint, MI, Beverly Payne of St. Louis, MO, Avery, Dominque Jackson and Kelly Miles both of Colorado Springs, CO; 23 great-grandchildren; Mother, Bertha Lee Smith of Memphis, TN; 3 brothers, Larry Loveless, Jerry (Tracey) Watts and Rickey Watts all of Memphis, TN; 6 sisters, Ida (Eugene) Shaw Sr. of Arlington, TN, Elizabeth Holman, Sylvia Watts, Tonya Canady all of Memphis, TN, Betty (James) Bass of Cleveland, MS, and Phyllis ( Freddie) Peters of W. Memphis, AR; 4 nieces, Clemmye Truehart, Brittany Moore, Schnell Elberry of Memphis, TN and Kaleria Bass of Cleveland, MS; 13 nephews, Eugene Shaw Jr., Brett Shaw, Ollie Watts, Darryl Watts, Scottie Candy, Barry Candy, James Bass, Kendra Bass, Nigel Bass, Andre Peters, Brandon peters, Everett Frazier Jr. all of W. Memphis, AR and Brandon Dockery of Memphis, TN; uncle, Stewart Turner of W. Memphis, Arkansas; a host of cousin including Willie L. Cox, Floyd Rogers, Watts and Turner family, other relatives and friends including special friend, Eva Jimenez.. Mr. Watts Jackson Jr. was preceded in death by his father, Ural Lee Jackson Sr.; son, Tony Jackson; brother, Barry Watts and sister, Earnestine Loveless. The family would like to express special thanks to Ida Shaw she was Mr. Watts sister who was his rock and held him together and Ms. Fraddie Jackson Lee for all her many acts of kindness and support during our hours of bereavement, we love you, we thank you and you will always be in our prayers.
