Mr. Tracy Timmons

TIMMONS, Mr. Tracy - Age 55, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Timmons will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed Friday, August 30, 2024 from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Mr. Tracy Alfonzia Timmons was born June 12, 1969 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Evelyn J. Boyd and J.T. Randall. Tracy truly loved his children, grandchildren and family. Tracey was multi-talented; however, music (particularly RAP) was his cherished and lifelong pursuit. A fearless dreamer from his early youth, he could be found break dancing, beat boxing, or sitting quietly composing rhythms towards his dream of becoming a record label owner. His entrepreneurial dream was fulfilled through the creation of Black Men Against Destruction (BMAD) and later Low Life Records through which he wrote, performed, produced, and marketed along with several lifelong friends. Tracey (“Spaghetti Red”) was also a dapper dresser and sports enthusiast. He had a love for video games, good times, and was frequently the “life of the party”. His journey through life led him to meet many celebrities. He never met a stranger as he was a devoted friend. Mr. Tracy Aflonzia Timmons leaves to cherish his memory: 3 daughters, Nakeisha Jameson of Atlanta, GA, Alicia (Ryan) Wyman of Kalamazoo, MI and Kania Timmons of Flint; 4 sons, Kentre Timmons, TreQuan Timmons, Travelle Timmons, all of Flint and Tre Timmons of California; grandchildren, Benjamin Hood Jr., King Shy, D’marion Jamison, Nevaeh Jamison, A’millyn Jamison, all of Atlanta, GA and Blessing Wyman of Kalamazoo, MI; mother, Evelyn j. Boyd; 3 sisters, Pamela R. Wilson, Veta D. Holmes and Robin E. Timmons; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Stafford Howard Jr., Reginal McGill, Alphonzo McGaughy, Jamar Davis, Marty Vaughn, Turner “Pook” Ashe and Andre Polk. Mr. Timmons was preceded in death by his father, J.T. Randall; brother, Tony D. Timmons; nephew, Corey B. Wilson; and niece, Amari Davis. The family would like to express special thanks to Kermit Street family, Low Life family and Emory University Hospital.
