MONTGOMERY, Mrs. Tracey Lynette - Age 43, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. Family hour 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 a.m. Interment Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy., Mt. Morris, MI Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:00 a.m. Saturday. Ms. Montgomery will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday. Mrs. Tracey L. Montgomery began her journey on this road of life, May 20, 1973 in Flint, Michigan. She was the youngest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Harold and Iola (Bingham) Montgomery. Tracey accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Corey Green on May 13, 2016 in Indiana. She was loving daughter, sister, aunt, friend and God-mother and was affectionately known as “Tee Tee”. Tracey was very active in the lives of many children even though she didn’t have any of her own. She loved to cook, be with friends, travel and talk on the phone. Mrs. Tracey L. Montgomery leaves to cherish her sweet memory: devoted husband, Corey “Swole” Green; father, Harold Montgomey, Sr.; 3 sisters, Tamika Holland (Nurmon Pharms); Teri Montgomery-Hood and Felicia (Will) Montgomery-Mack; brother, Harold (Boosie) Montgomery Jr.; 5 nieces, Vinika (Elias) Fleming, Autumn and Aleysha Holland, Latrice (Jr) Smith and Janaya Mack; 4 nephews, Vincent Fleming, Jr., Jamall Blackmond, DeQuindre Montgomery and Savan Mack; 2 God-daughters, Ankhiyah “Kya” White and Le’Deja “Day Day” Miller; special sister-cousins, Yolanda Carr and Tawana Bingham; mother-in-law, Vivian Green; 2 sisters-in-law, Maryetta (Boo) Williams & Family; Nicole (Donnie) Buckner & Family; aunts, Ervine (Jimmy) Morgan, Doris Conner, Karen Hinton, Mary Montgomery-Dozier; Debra Creel and Judy Williams; uncles, Paul Montgomery, Keith (Regina) Conner, Melvin (Tawana) Bingham, Pete (Emma) Bingham, Johnnie Cowley, James Cowley, Joe (Gilly) Green; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Shani “Sweets” Smith, Nicky Howard, Lakia Sturghill, Tasha Johnson, Mimi (Kelvin) McLaurin, Tracey Gilmore-Silas and Misty Chapman. Mrs. Montgomery was preceded in death by her mother, Iola Montgomery (1997); grandparents; brother-in-law, Alfred Holland (2001); several aunts and uncles.
