TAYLOR, Mr. T.P. - Age 56, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at Genesys Health Park. Family hour 10:30AM Tuesday, January 8, 2008 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11AM. Rev. Floyd Fuller, officiating. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery, G-4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30AM Tuesday. Mr. Taylor will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Monday. Minister T.P. Taylor was a resident of Flint, Michigan and a former member of Eliezer Church of Apostolic Faith. He surrounded his life to the Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized on January 13, 1993. On August 14, 2000, he received license to minister. T.P. loved preaching and witnessing for the Lord. He read the Bible daily receiving numerous outstanding certificates of completion of Bible courses and listened to Gospel music. In December of 1978, he received an Honorable Discharge from the Army National Guard. On December 18, 1997, T.P. earned his GED. He leaves to cherish his memory: stepmothers, Josie Young and Lee Nell Young; sisters, Geraldine Chaney, all of Flint, and Audrey (Muhammad) Young of Cincinnati, OH; brothers, Donald Young of Detroit, Yacob (Hazel, fiance') Young; stepsisters, Janice Edwards, Desere' (Hernando) Johnson, Kathy Edwards, and Debbie White; stepbrother, Patrick (Cynthia) Williams, all of Flint; nieces, Keisha Young, Tanisha Young of Chicago, IL, Natasha, Autrece and Aujanee' Young, all of Flint; several step-nieces; goddaughter, ShaCoria Macon; nephews, Daniel Chaney of Norfolk, VA, and Dante Hendrick of Cincinnati, OH; step-nephew, ShaVonte Edwards of Flint; uncle, LC and Virgie Young of Cleveland, OH; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Pastor Floyd Fuller, Ozell Macon, Isorda Sanderlin and Diane Mill. Min. Taylor was preceded in death by his mother, Rosetta Jones; father, JP Young; brother, Ike Lee Young; several aunt, uncles and cousin. The family would like to express special thanks to Harold Steinman, Beverly Buford, Ann Westbrook and all attending doctors and medical staff of Genesys Health Park and Campus.
