DRAKE, Mr. Tony, Jr. - He was affectionately Known as "Bubba Dan". Age 18, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2007 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Family hour 10AM Friday, November 2, 2007 at Southeast Christian Church, 4171 Lapeer Rd., with funeral service commencing at 11AM. Eld. Dreyon Wynn officiating, Rev. Kenneth M. Brown, Pastor. Interment Lovedale Memorial Cemetery, G-5175 E. Bristol Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11AM Friday. Mr. Drake will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Thursday. Mr. Tony Curtis Drake, Jr. was born December 19, 1988 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Twayna Bright and Tony Drake, Sr. Tony was a resident of Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Flint and Indiana Public Schools. Tony was currently employed as a laborer restoring homes and was a member of Money Made Entertainment Production. He had a deep passionate love for his dogs especially "Faces" and "Muffin". Tony's desire was to have a kennel club with his father, Tony, Sr. Mr. Tony Curtis Drake, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory: parents, Twayna Michelle Bright of Indianapolis, IN and Tony (Lavaytis) Drake, Sr.; grandparents, Dartha (Carl) Burks of Grand Blanc, Dorothy Drake Roberts and Keith Holmes of Detroit; godparents, Monica M. Redwine of Flint and Ericka Perry of Mt. Morris; 3 sisters, Eyadena Charmiyah Croom of Indianapolis, IN, Charlana Monique and Chayona Unique Drake; brother, Lorenzo Curtis Drake all of Flint; 2 aunts, Faith Lagon of Detroit and Demetris Drake of Flint; 6 great-aunts, Brenda (Roosevelt) Powell of Mt. Morris, Barbara Lacey, Ruthie Allen, Wille (G) Bradley, Pauline Richmond Pat (Adel) Johnson and Ollie (David) Peterson; 6 uncles, Jerelle Wynn of Flint Dreyon (Katrina) Wynn of Bay City, MI, Dexter K. and Ernie D. Drake, Antonio (Tammy) Johnson and Mike Lagon of Detroit; 3 great uncles, Oscar Bright, Roosevelt and R.S. Wynn; 2 special uncles, Mario Wells and Willie Smith; a host of cousins other relatives and friends including special friends, Aunye Jones of Indianapolis, IN, Eyadema "Blue" Croom, Kelcy Allen, Kenyatta Jarrett, Artisha Howard, The Big Engine Family of Indiana, special cousins, Antonio Johnson, Jr. and DaQuan Westbrook. Mr. Drake was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Veolia and Luther P. Lacey; grandfathers, Curtis Drake and Albert Roberts; uncles, Quintwell Wynn and Tracy Lorenzo Drake; 2 great-uncles, Melvin and James Bright.
