WILLIAMS, Ms. Toni Annette - Age 64 passed away Monday, May 18, 2020 at Hurley Medical Center. Ms. Williams will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed Thursday, May 28, 2020 from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Ms. Toni Annette Williams was born September 18, 1955 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Margaret Beshears and Lionel Williams. Toni was a resident of Flint and attended various churches with her grandson, Jarquavise right by her side. She loved to travel, go on trips and often visited her up-north cabin with her best friend, Mark Foote before her health began to decline. Toni also loved to cook and most of her friends would say she was a black soul of a woman trapped in a white body. Before her demise she had just won a Chili Competition out in Pine View Estates where she resided at her time of death. Toni was extremely adventurous, she loved to swim and was a Life Guard growing up. She worked many different jobs, but her passion was cooking, so she often sought jobs doing such for Michigan State University, Children’s Hospital in Oakland, CA. Toni was the most giving, caring and loving person one could know. Her heart was considered by her children to be as big as earth itself. Toni loved all her children and grandchildren always putting them first before everything and always enjoyed the presence of her grandchildren whenever they visited. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten as she has left footprints on this earth and in hearts that could never be removed. Ms. Toni Annette Williams leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Theresa Williams; 2 sons, Deonyte (Taquita) Williams and Michael Williams; 2 step-children, Marcus Taylor and Ashley Taylor; grandchildren, J.C. Pierre, Chaiel Williams, Chandler Williams, Janlen Walker, Dezariah McMullen, Jarquavise Montgomery, Ariyana Fails, Lyonna Williams, Aliyan Taylor and Annalyse Taylor; sister, Janet Needro; 2 brothers, John Darrel (Donna) Williams and Melvin Williams; 2 nephews, Garrett and Keeghan; 5 aunts, Roberta, Louise, Madie (Margaret, Toni’s mom), Louell and Sybil; uncle, Hershel Winchester; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Mary Williams, ViAnn, Mark Foote, Deana Colter, Felicia Johnson, Randy, Dee and Stacy, Mally Coup and a host of other family and friends Toni dearly loved. Ms. Williams was preceded in death by her sons, Lionel and Jermaine Williams; mother, Margaret Beshears; father, Lionel Williams; grandparents, Garrett and Lou Lou Williams. The family would like to express special thanks to all of our mothers friends and our family and friends for all of their prayers and phone calls of support, their kind expressions of concern and heartfelt sympathy during our bereavement. Please continue to keep us in you all’s prayers! We also want to thank God for giving us strength to make it through this storm.
