TUCKER, Mr. Tommie Lee - Age 64, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at Genesys Convalescent Center - Grand Blanc, MI. Family hour 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2015 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2 p.m. Rev. Wilbert Campbell officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Mr. Tucker will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Tommie Lee Tucker was called home for eternal rest on Monday, April 27, 2015 after a short illness. He was a former employee of Buick City, a division of General Motors for over 25 years. Tommie had many hobbies but his favorite was fishing and riding on his boat. He loved spending good times with family and friends. Mr. Tommie Lee Tucker leaves to cherish his memory: wife and caregiver, Dawn Tucker of Flint, MI; 4 children, LaKeshia (Willie) Tucker, Tommieka and Keyana Tucker all of Flint, MI, Tremayne (Helena) Tucker of Grand Rapids, MI; 8 grandchildren; Dequan, Kaleya, Jacobi, and Chase Tucker, Erica, Eric, and Emonti Dorsey, KeOndre Betts and Joelle Williams all of Flint, MI; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Nathaniel Tucker of Flint, MI, Walter (Myrtle) Tucker, and Eddie (Margie) Tucker of Crawford, MS; 2 brothers-in-law, Maurice Sallis and Marlo Perrin of Memphis, TN; 4 aunts, Gertrude (Wilbert) Campbell and Annie P. Malone all of Flint, MI Bethene Jones of St. Louis, MO, and LueVern Bland of Crawford, MS; 3 uncles, Legree (Gladys) Tucker of Flint, MI, Nate and Homer Randle both of Memphis, TN; a host of other relatives and friends including special cousins, Mose Tucker Jr. Herman Hairston, ‘Big E.’ Johnson and Betty Johnson. Mr. Tommie Lee Tucker was preceded in death by: son, Neil Tucker; parents, Cornelius Tucker and Hattie Tucker; and sister, Diane Tucker.
