BAKER, Mr. Timothy - Age 39, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2010. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Friday December 31, 2010 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 11 a.m. Friday. Mr. Baker will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon - 6 p.m. Thursday. Mr. Timothy Charles Baker was born January 31, 1971 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Charles and Easter Baker. He was a resident of Flint, Michigan. Timothy graduated from Northwestern High School with Honors; “Class of 1990”. He was a few credits shy from graduating from Mott Community College. Timothy loved to draw, fish, tell jokes, cars, clothes, shoes, and loved to eat his mother’s and sisters, Potato Salad. He also cut hair and was President of Get Tale Way Entertainment. Timothy was a loyal, loving, dependable, and real person, who loved his family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Miajjia Baker; 3 sons, Tarik Baker of Phoenix, AZ, Timothy C. Baker and Tyree Baker, all of Flint; parents, Charles and Easter Baker; 2 sisters, Wendy Baker and Katrina Y. Baker, both of Flint; 2 brothers, Marcus T. (Tiffany) Baker of Farmington Hills, MI and Justin (Alayna) Baker of Ann Arbor, MI; 2 nieces, Leroya Z. Parks and Prasais S. Harville; nephew, Remecoe Baker, all of Flint; 4 aunts, Betty J. Walker of Saginaw, MI, Patricia Baker of Louisville, MS, Liz Prescott and Retha Roper, both of Flint; 5 uncles, Ellis (Loretta) Avery of Flint, Wilson (Helen) Avery, Jr. of San Diego, CA, Bobby Ray Baker, Larry (Clemenstine) Baker, Marvin (Edna) Baker, all of Louisville, MS; 2 cousins, Lorenzo Avery and Verlisa Cole, both of Flint; a host of other cousins, relatives and friends including friends, Juan Brown, Willie and Trameka Davis, Fidel and special friend, Samantha. Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his daughter, Tiara Baker; grandparents, Wilson and Lizzie Avery, Scott and Maggie Baker; and nephew, Dequan Baker. The family would like to express special thanks to our family of Jehovah’s Witnesses, family members, and other friends for their encouragement, cards, phone calls and meals.
