BROWN. Mr. Thomas Lee - Age 66, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022, at his residence. Family hour 10:30 AM Tuesday, August 30, 2022, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Pastor Napolean Tyler, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd., Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Funeral Home, 10:30 AM Tuesday. There will be no public viewing.Mr. Thomas Lee Brown Sr. was born December 19, 1955 in Flint Michigan, the son of John and Ruthel (Thomas) Brown. Thomas was a resident of Flint his entire life, a product of Flint Community Schools, graduating from Flint Central High School. He was a member of Holy Ghost Church of God In Christ under the leadership of the late Elder Herman H. Strong Sr., where he learned the importance of God, family and work. Thomas was a hard worker and provider for his family, retiring from General Motors after 32 years. Thomas was an avid chess player, and couldn’t nobody out dress him. Mr. Thomas Lee Brown Sr. leaves to cherish his memory: 5 daughters, Sateesha (Shelly) Poplar, Latonya (Elder Victor) Adams, Lashawn Hudson-Brown, Kamyia Brown and Jade Brown. 7 sons, Marvetas “Marty” Woods, Thomas L. Brown Jr., Jimmy Hudson, Dontae Brown, John Hudson-Brown, Ryan Younger, and Marsyis Smith. 25 grandchildren: Sedrick, Satchel, Seth, Sebastian, Prince, Pretoree, Juanita, Pretoria, Emmanuel, Tequan, Tasharia, Johniesha, Uriya, Jahni, Ayva, Joncere, Thomas, Dontae, Alontae, Taylor, Tayanna, Noah, Lele, KJ, Shariah, and King; 5 sisters: Jane Allen, Teresa (Elder Robert) Allen, Grace Brown-Anderson, Pamela Brown, and Leali (John) Alexander. 2 brothers: Bruce (Shelia) Brown, and Eugene Brown. Mothers’ of children Rita Woods and Mona Brown, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, including special cousin Devonne Brown-Updite and friends. Mr. Brown was preceded by his parents, John and Ruthel Brown, grandparents Mamie Patterson and Mattie Brown, 1 sister Ruthann McGee, brothers John Thomas, Andrew Michael Brown, and Kenneth Brown mother of children Linda Hudson, one aunt and seven uncles.
