Mr. Theado M. Robertson Jr.

ROBERTSON, Mr. Theado M. Jr. - Age 77, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at McLaren-Flint. Family hour 10AM Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 2211 Stedron St., with Memorial Service commencing at 11AM. Mr. Theado M. Robertson Jr. was born March 15, 1941 in Hughes, Arkansas. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Theado and Frances Robertson Sr., known to family and friends as "Payday". Ted retired from a career at General Motors after 34 years of dedicated service. He truly enjoyed and cherished spending time with family and friends. Ted also enjoyed sharing his hobbies of watching sports, westerns, playing cards and domino matches with those close to him. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on March 12, 1988 and proudly served as a Pioneer and Elder of the Bel-Aire Woods Congregation for many years. Ted loved sharing in the ministry and preaching about God's glorious Kingdom. He was a very kind and loving person that raised a wonderful family he was proud of. He loved his wife Helen and children Kenny, Ted III and Shawn very deeply, with all of his heart. Mr. Theado M. Robertson Jr. leaves to cherish his wonderful memory a loving wife of 55 years Helen; 3 sons, Kenneth (Crystal), Shawn (Tanisha) of Flint, and Ted III of Altus, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Katie of Chicago, IL, Diana, and Hattie; 3 brothers, Sammie (Karol), James, and Lacy, all of Flint; 7 sisters-in-law, Lillian, Geneva (Wililam), Irene (Vernon), Darlene (Gary) of Collierville, TN, Diana (Leo) of Millington, TN, Jacqueline (Bobby) of Memphis, TN, Ora Mae (Walter) of Columbus, OH; 3 brothers-in-law, Walter and Lorenzo of Collierville, TN and Marvell (Dorothy) of Chicago, IL; Uncle, Steward Turner of West Memphis, AR. A host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by his parents, Theado Sr. and Frances Robertson; daughter, Carol Delaney; sisters, Catherine R. Mosley and Lillie Mae Miller; brothers, Big Jim, TJ and Harold Robertson. The family would like to express a very special thank you to the many friends, the entire Bel-Aire Woods Congregation, Jack, Narvella, Fred, Kim, James, Earnestine, Ruben, Linda, Chuck, Easter, Jason and staff of the McLaren nursing unit and Dr. Mendoza for the love, care and support you have provided.
