DONALD, Mr. Thailan Ramar - Age 18, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM Monday, October 2, 2023, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 PM Monday. There will be no public viewing. Thailan, a remarkable young man with an indomitable spirit and extraordinary talent, has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of a beloved son, brother, friend, and exceptional individual whose life was tragically cut short. Though our grief is immeasurable, we find solace in celebrating the incredible person he was. Born on June 14, 2005, Thai entered this world with a passion for music and sports. From a young age, it was evident that he possessed a unique gift in both realms. As a musician, his melodies enchanted the hearts of those who listened. Whether he was beating his drums or composing soul-stirring lyrics; Thai had the uncanny ability to translate emotions into beautiful harmonies that resonated with his audience. Beyond his musical prowess, Thai was an extraordinary basketball player. His skills on the court were unmatched, and his dedication and commitment to the sport were unwavering. He possessed an innate ability to lead his team, inspiring them to greatness through his determination and unwavering work ethic. However, Thai’s true character shone brightest in his deep love for his siblings and his unwavering commitment to family. He cherished the bonds he shared with his brothers and sisters, and his presence brought joy and unity to their lives. Thai was the pillar of strength and support, always ready to lend a listening ear, offer guidance, and provide unconditional love. Thai’s life was not one measured solely by personal achievements but by the countless lives he touched through his selflessness. He exemplified the true essence of sacrifice, ultimately laying down his own life for the sake of others. His courageous act of heroism will forever be remembered as a testament to his extraordinary character. As we bid farewell to Thai, we find solace in knowing that his legacy will live on through the memories we hold dear. His music will continue to inspire, his basketball skills will continue to awe, and his unwavering love for family will forever be cherished.
