COX, Mrs. Terry Marie - Age 39, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2008 at her residence. Family hour 10:30AM Saturday, June 7, 2008 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immdiately at 11AM, Pastor Ira G. Edwards officiating. Interment Lovedale Memorial Cemetery, G-5175 Bristol Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30AM Saturday. Mrs. Cox will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Friday. Mrs. Terry Marie Cox was born May 29, 1969 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas, the daughter of James and Bobbie Jean Shelton. Terry was a resident of Flint. She loved shopping, cooking, cleaning and had a special love for children. Mrs. Terry Marie Cox leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Eric D. Cox; 7 sons, Erik Cassel, Denzel Brown, Billy Smith, Andre Kelly, Jalen, Trevon and Dequino Cox; grandson, Ellis Cassel, all of Flint; 2 sisters, Patricia Chunn and Faye Shelton both of Chicago, IL; 4 brothers, (twin) Jerry Shelton, Ronnie (Debra) Shelton of Flint, Stanley and Larry Shelton both of Chicago, IL; a host of nieces including special nieces, Shatwila, Vanesha, Tatiana, Tyra and Shalonda; a host of nephews; 8 aunts, Arbertha (Andrew) Harris, Dernice Douglas, Helen Washington, all of Flint, Flossie Moore of Detroit, MI, Jewel McCoun of Fort Wayne, IN, Gertrude Tatum of Texarkana, AR, Lucille McCown of North Carolina and Denise Cox of Mt. Morris, MI; 4 uncles, Eddie (Sophie) Mitchell of California, Elbert (Eulilah) Booher of Flint, Cotis Cox of Oklahoma, and Samuel (Jimmi) Cox of Arkansas; mother-in-law, Margaret Jefferson; 12 sisters-in-law, Chantel, Carmelita and Paula Cox, Alfreda, Mona, Brenda, Delores Jefferson, all of Flint, Shirley Harris, Shirley Martin, Ethel Mae (Larry) Neal of Milwaukee, Rozena (Ed) Hutchinson and Marneka (Ronnie) Coleman, all of Flint; 4 brothers-in-law, Charles Cassel, Michael Jefferson of Charleston, MO, Howard Cox and Dennis Jefferson both of Flint; special beloved dog, Missy; special friends, Carolyn Westbrook and Trina Evans.
