Terri Hines

HINES, Ms. Terri - Age 51, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 at her residence. Family hour 10 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Mt. Pisgah Church, 6415 N. Clio Rd., with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Pastor Wallace Hill, III, officiating. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10 a.m. Thursday. Ms. Hines will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 1p.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday. Ms. Terri Hines was born July 6, 1959 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of Jeanette and Ezelle Hines. Terri was the eldest of seven children. She graduated from Carver High School in Memphis, TN. Terrie moved to Flint at the age of 19. She attended Ross Medical Center and became a Certified Medical Assistant with a specialty in Phlebotomy. Terri held employment with H-Care and Quest Diagnostics. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church and was baptized in August of 2010. Terri enjoyed watching television, her favorite shows were, “Judge Joe Brown and Judge Judy.” She was also a very devoted mother and loving grandmother. Ms. Terri Hines leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Jamillah (Dauntae) Hines Jamerson; son, Derrick Hines (Kenisha Stinson); grandchildren, Karen Bowles of Memphis, TN, Jamiyah, Janasia and Jamarius, all of Phoenix, AZ, Derrick Hines, Jr., Darrion Hines, both of Flint, D’tavien Hines, De’Aysa Hines, Tre’vion Hines, all of Ann Arbor, MI and soon to be granddaughter, London Hines; 3 sisters, Pamela, Toya and Tammy Hines, all of Flint; 2 brothers, James Eskridge of Flint and Gerald (Faye) Mack of Union City, KY; 5 nieces, Shannon White, Wanda Ware, both of Flint, Miki Shaw, Ashley White, both of Memphis, TN and Shaunae White of Ypsilanti, MI; 6 nephews, Kentrell (Latrese) Ware of Flint, Markel Eskridge of Memphis, TN, Jalen Parks, Brandon Tripplett, both of Flint, Kentrell Ware, Jr. and Latrelle Ware; a host of cousins other relatives and friends including special friends, Memory Jones, Emma Smith, Stone Wall Woodson, Alexis Stringer and Deidra Cheatham. Ms. Hines was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanette Hines; sisters, Sandra Carothers and Wanda Eskridge; niece, Tiana Tripplett; and aunt, Jeralstine Mack. The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Khalid Ahmed, McLaren Hospice, Jaina, Melissa, Lia Mack and Sierra Wright.
