LILLY, Mr. Terrence L. - Age 49, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020 at McLaren-Flint. Family hour 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 24, 2020 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Chapel 10:00 AM Tuesday. Mr. Lilly will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 2:00 PM-8:00 PM Monday, with family present to receive friends from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. Mr. Terrence L. Lilly was born August 28, 1970 in Flint, Michigan, the son of the late Diane Yearby and Napoleon Ford. Terrence was a resident of Flint; formerly of Taylor, MI for twenty years. He graduated from the Flint Academy, “Class of 1988 and attended Howard University and Wayne State University. Terrence was employed as a Program Coordinator Assistant for the National Kidney Foundation. He was always grounded in the church and was a member of Perfecting Church in Detroit, MI where he served in the Choir and on the Praise Team. Terrence also attended Divine Grace Ministries in Flint. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and studying God’s word. Mr. Terrence L. Lilly leaves to cherish his memory: father, Napoleon (Meredith) Ford; paternal grandmother, Ora Lee Walker; step-grandfather, Homer Flippen; sister, LaShonda Malloy (Kevin Robinson); 5 brothers, Janerio Malloy (LaShawnda Gilbert), Janiro Ford, Napoleon Ford II, Martwaz Ford (Sonceria) and Branbell Carnes; niece, Quinarah Malloy; nephews, Jalil Malloy and Jacoby Malloy; uncle, Sandy Malloy (Carolyn) of Flint; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Esther Nichols and Gwendolyn Boyd. Mr. Lilly was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Yearby; grandmother, Emma Flippen; great-aunts, Elizabeth Malloy and Mary Langley; and great-uncle, John Malloy. A single indoor shared space includes but is not limited to a room, hall, cafeteria, auditorium, theater, or gallery. The prohibition on assemblages set forth in this section does not apply to: The prohibition set forth in this section does not abridge protections guaranteed by the state or federal constitution under these emergency circumstances.
