JONES, Mr. Terrell Alan - Age 52, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at his residence. Family hour 1:30 PM Thursday, June 2, 2022, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM Pastor Napolean Tyler officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 PM Thursday. Mr. Jones will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Wednesday. Mr. Terrell Alan Jones was born August 3, 1969 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Ina Jean (Riggs) Jones and Clarence Jones Jr. Terrell graduated from Flint Northwestern High School, “Class of 1987.” He was a member of the Baptist Church. Terrell enjoyed playing Dominos, horseshoes, shooting pool, riding his bike and watching the Chicago Bears play football. He was a huge Michigan Fan. Terrell’s favorite pastime was spending time with his nephews, Marquel and Nakai, and his niece, Briana. Mr. Terrell Alan Jones leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Ina Jean (Riggs) Jones; 2 brothers, Andre L. (fiancé, Irma Y. Nickson) Jones and Clarence “Duke” Jones III; niece, Briana S. Jones; 2 nephews, Marquel D. Jones and Nakai L. Jones; 5 aunts Irma Riggs, Donna Childress, Gloria Riggs, all of Flint, Emily Broussard of Salem, OR and Florence Sadler of Fairfield, CA; uncle, Stanley D. Riggs; a host of cousins including, Crystal, Lisa, William “Poncho”, Mark, Darus, Kendra, Mia, Michael, Heath Sanfunee, Ryan, Reagan, Arnold, Brenda, Shawn, Raedonna, Stacy, Jessie and Derrick; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Jimmy “Rico” Hicks, Rodney Reese, Abdul Mays, Corey Edwards and Cory Wilson. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Jones Jr.; grandmothers, Gwendolyn Riggs and Mamie Jones; grandfathers, Clarence Jones Sr. and Wellington Earl; aunts, Sharon Riggs and Bernice Bernard; uncles, Arnold Eugene, Keith Riggs and Perry Jones. The family would like to express special thanks to Douglass Thompson Regan Riggs, Mia Riggs, Dorothy Riggs, Aunt Donna Childress, Mr. Alious Bates, Kendra Bell, Ryan Riggs and Curtez Riggs.
