Mrs. Tania Rachel Green

GREEN, Mrs. Tania Rachel - age 46, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Refuge Temple, 4400 W. Carpenter Rd., Flint Twp., MI. with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Pastor Seon F. Thompson officiating. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, G-5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Church 10 a.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Green will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and may be viewed from 12 p.m.-8 p.m. Monday. Mrs. Tania R. (Thomas) Green, lovingly known as “Mook Mook” was born February 18, 1968 to Mr. Ernest C. Martin and Mrs. Gail A. (Thomas) Roland at Hurley Medical Center in Flint. Tania accepted Christ at an early age and she attended several churches before finding her church home at Refuge Temple. She graduated from Flint Northern High School and was presently attending Davenport University. Tania was presently working for D M Bunn at the Bishop International Airport Control Tower. Tania was a beautiful, loving, and caring spirit, she loved her family and she loved to sing. She was a member of her church choir and sung on Pastor Seon Thompson’s published CD. Mrs. Tania R. (Thomas) Green leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Andre D. Green of Mt. Morris; 2 daughters, Shantania, and Jannean Orr; 2 sons, Ricky, and Shurmon Orr III; 4 step-children, Andrea Smith, Patrice, and Andre Green Jr., and Deandre Morgan; grandchildren, Nak’o, Shurmon, Ricky Thomas Jr., and Kamija Thomas Orr, Teshaun Crawford, Monica Cole, Mason, and Tristian huddleston, and Cameron Johnson; 2 aunts, Coleen Carlysle, and Silena Thomas; uncle, Samual J. Thomas; 15 cousins, Michelle, Lorrie, Josette, Rachel, Ebony, Evones, Fred Jr.,Dalis, Dashonda, Dustin, Delon, Debony, Devion, Hertis, and Keyland; 6 sisters-in-law, Kieshia (Matt) Tolbert, Tracy (Hank) Cornelius, Yolanda (Omar) Henderson, Leasa Brown, Tasha Taylor, and Tammy Cross; brother-in-law, Gerald (Ieshia) Green; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Linda Robinson, Terrell Wilson, and step-grandchildren. Mrs. Tania R. (Thomas) Green was preceded in death by: her grandmother, Bettie R. Thomas; grandfather, James H. Thomas; uncles, Fred A. Thomas, and Eric H. Thomas; and his father-in-law.
