Mr. Steven Louis Rutherford

RUTHERFORD, Mr. Steven Louis - Age 60, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at McLaren-Flint. Family hour 10 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Elder Charles Richardson officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10 a.m. Saturday. Mr. Rutherford will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. Friday. Mr. Steven Louis Rutherford was born June 27, 1955, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, the son of Rosie B. Rutherford. He was employed at Flint Truck & Bus, a division of General Motors for 27 years retiring in 2006 and was a member of the UAW Local #598. He was an accomplished artist; he loved to draw and play the guitar. Steven enjoyed spending time with his baby girl, Egypt. Mr. Steven Louis Rutherford leaves to cherish his memory: wife of 9 years, Sharaun Stanley-Rutherford; 3 daughters, Stephanie and Egypt Rutherford, both of Flint and Tara Stanley of Arlington TX; 2 sons, Marcus (LaVita) Harris of Flint and Luntrell (Doris) Rutherford of Roger City, MI; grandchildren, Imani, Zaire, and Noah Harris, Anthony and Alan Baylor, Amya Robinson, Alexis Rutherford, all of Flint, Dyshauna, Akia, and Delante Rutherford, all of Roger City, MI; 4 sisters, Shirley Wilson, Carolyn Guise, Barbara Sims, and Patricia Thompson, all of Flint; brother, Bobbie Rutherford of Mt.
