BRYANT, Ms. Sharon Loraine - Age 65, passed away Monday, November 25, 2024 in Stevens Point, Wisc. Family hour 9:00 AM Friday, December 13, 2024 at Triumph Church Burton Campus, 2130 S. Center Rd., Burton, MI, with funeral service commencing at 10:00 AM. Rev. Solomon Kinloch, officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the church Friday, December 13, 2024 at 9:00 AM. Ms. Bryant will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and may be viewed Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Sharon Loraine Bryant was born November 15, 1959 in Clarendon, Arkansas to Geraldine L. Vinson and the late Theatric Bryant. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age in Kosciusko, Mississippi at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Sharon spent her formative years in Chicago, Illinois then the family moved to Flint, Michigan where she was raised. Sharon was a proud graduate of Flint Northwestern High School class of 1978, where she developed lifelong bonds and friendships. If you had the honor to be called friend by Sharon you had a committed and loyal friend for life. Sharon was also a dedicated member of Ebenezer Ministries in Flint, Michigan where she was a “church mom” to many young women and men. She was sought out for her kind words of encouragement. She loved sitting in the front row close to the altar and music, clapping off beat. Sharon had successful skills trade and supervising career positions with several manufacturing companies including General Motors and John Deere. She treasured the relationships she made with her staff and co-workers. Sharon believed in education. Throughout the years as a working adult and devoted mother to her daughter, Rickita, Sharon attained her Masters in Business Administration from Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. Sharon went to school night and day, online and in-person to achieve her goal of higher education. She was in the works of planning for her PHD! Sharon’s favorite pastimes were going to the movies, theatrical plays, and comedy shows. She loved spending her free time with close friends and family, reading and sharing scripture, traveling and eating good food! Her cooking, especially cakes were legendary. Whether it was treating her first niece and nephew, JuWanda Arlett and JuWone Martrell like her own or planning family dinners with close cousins, Sharon had a genuine love for her family. On November 25, 2024 Sharon Loraine Bryant transitioned to a place of peace. Preceded in death by Niles Estes (step-father), Theatric Bryant (father), Anthony Estes (brother), and Brad Hairston (friend).Cherishing her loving memories are her devoted daughter, Rickita Henderson, mother, Geraldine L. Vinson, sister, Shenill (Mitchell) Snell, brother, Herman (Agnes) Vinson, nieces JuWanda Vinson, Abigail Vinson, Jacqueline Vinson, Alexis Vinson, nephews, JuWone (Tiffany) Vinson and Hernan Vinson, uncle Herbert (Sylverene) Vinson, aunts Dorothy Bates, Mary Jean Caldwell, Lola Vinson, and Juanita Vinson, and a host of special great nephews Tahjai “TJ” Marquan and Jalen LaKeith, cousins, extended family and friends.
