Mrs. Sandra Jean March

MARCH, Mrs. Sandra Jean - Age 77, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020 at her residence. Family hour 7:30 AM Saturday, October 24, 2020 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 8:00 AM. Pastor Patrick W. Sanders Sr., officiating. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, 5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Chapel 7:30 AM Saturday. Mrs. March will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Friday. Mrs. Sandra Jean March was born May 15, 1943 in Nashville, Tennessee, the daughter of Katherine Keeler and Foster Shaw. Sandra was a resident of Flint, Michigan and a member of New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church. She attended Pearl High School in Nashville, TN. Sandra retired from AC Spark Plug, a division of General Motors Corporation. She loved to play the lottery, flower gardening, going out to eat, read books and newspapers, and to get her hair done every other Thursday. Sandra also loved talking about her grandchildren and talk to her step-daughter, Jocelyn on Sundays on the phone and to her grandson, Jason everyday faithfully. She always loved to beat up James Keeler “Jimmy” of Nashville, TN. Mrs. Sandra Jean March leaves to cherish her memory: step-daughter, Jocelyn (Stanley) Travis of Fayetteville, TN; grandchildren, Quadrina March, Shannon March, Sharina March, Jason March, all of Coatesville, PA, Shawn and Latoya Dirrell of Detroit, MI; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne Keeler; niece, Kathy Keeler; 6 cousins, Mildred Keeler, Jessie Wynn, Dolores Harris, Lisa Phillips, Nathanal Philips and James Keeler, all of Nashville, TN; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, John A. Carlysle Sr., Geraldine Carlysle, both of Flint, mothers of her grandchildren, Shirley Dirrell of Detroit and Linda Boykin of Coatesville, PA. Mrs. March was preceded in death by her husband, Latha March; son, Darryl March. The family would like to express special thanks to Lawrence E.
