CLINTON, Mrs. Sandra - Age 52, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 21, 2013 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, 5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Mrs. Clinton will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12 noon-8 p.m. Wednesday. Ms. Sandra Lee (Harris) Clinton was born September 17, 1960 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of Mary Alexander and Chester Sims. She enjoyed rummage sales, shopping, bingo, getting out in the world mingling and babysitting children. Sandra always gives it to you straight-up. She was caring, helpful, funny and a goofy person. Sandra loved her children, grandchildren and eating. Ms. Sandra L. Clinton leaves to cherish sweet memories: 4 daughters, LaTasha (Jermar) Chandler of Flint, Shenika (Scott) of Fort Worth, TX, Daleshia (Nikki) Clinton of Stone Mountain, GA and Kevia “Kevi” Mosley; 2 sons, Roshia (Danielle) Harris and Dale Clinton, Jr., all of Flint; 13 grandchildren, Tateana Bryant, Jermariana Chandler, DéAshia Harris, Kordae Harris, Roshia Harris II, Jacquay Evans, all of Flint, Chair’ish Price of Fort Worth, TX, Roshad Harris and Rodellius Harris, both of Flint, Scott Kellum, Jr. of Fort Worth, TX; special grandchildren, Demetrius Davis, Jr., TáShéAra Davis, both of Flint and Essence Harris of Fort Worth, TX; grandmother, Georgeana Dandle; 5 sisters, Jackie Sims-Underwood, Wonder Sims, Tina Sims-Webb, all of Douglasville, GA, Akita Alexander and Charlenae Alexander; 4 brothers, Andray Alexander, John Alexander, E’dellis Alexander, all of Flint, and Brandon Alexander of Atlanta, GA; special brother, Reo; 2 aunts, Daisy Newsome and Bernice Ross; 2 uncles, Curtis Harris and Albert Harris; sister-in-law, Sharon Alexander; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives in friends including special friends, Red, Dee, Jacqualine and Ellsie. Ms. Clinton was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Alexander; father, Chester Simms; special aunt, Iola Smith; and uncle, Nathaniel.
