Mrs. Sabrena Evatte Murphy-Moore

MURPHY-MOORE, Mrs. Sabrena E. - Age 50, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 at McLaren-Flint. Family hour 10:30 AM Monday, July 31, 2017 at First Union Baptist Church, 7004 Fleming Rd., with funeral service commencing at 11:30 AM, Pastor Archie Powell Jr., officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30 AM Monday. Mrs. Moore will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM Sunday, with family present to receive friends from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM. Mrs. Sabrena Murphy-Moore was born October 17, 1966 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Deborah Murphy and Orlander Summers. She graduated from Flint Northwestern High School. Sabrena enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino, dancing and shopping. She also enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Sabrena loved her Wild Times Scratch Offs, drinking Moon Mist and eating Hershey with Almonds and Turtles candy. She married the love of her life, Bryant K. Moore on August 28, 2004. Mrs. Sabrena Murphy-Moore leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Bryant K. Moore; 3 daughters, Takoya Anderson, Brittany Marie Moore and Keyona Jazmin Moore; son, Bryant K. (Frederika) Ford; grandchildren, Takarriel Anderson, Jayceon Peat, all of Flint, Bryant III, Bre’Asia, BreNiya, Brea and Brionna Ford, all of Alexandria, LA; mother, Deborah Murphy; grandmother, Rose Murphy; sister, Tina Murphy; 2 brothers, Rafael Murphy, Quincy Murphy and Michael Jackson; 4 nieces, Paradise, Keyocia, Jhanay, Kyndal and Nariah; 4 nephews, Orlando, Rafael Jr., Karon and Kevin; 9 aunts, Sandra Givens, Jacqualine Deloney, Amarallys Williams, Angela Murphy, Karen Murphy-Lewis, Janice Murphy, Alesia Davis, all of Flint, Shirley Readus of Huntsville, AL and Mary Alice Butler of Pine Bluff, AR; 5 uncles, Gregory Davis, Craig Smith, both of San Diego, CA, Benny Butler of Pine Bluff, AR, Martin Fitzpatrick of Stuttgart, AR and Willie Williams; 44 cousins including special cousins, “Cuz Cuz” Nita and Terry Barker; sister-in-law, Jezette Moore; 2 brothers-in-law, Olsen Moore and Nate (Patrice) Moore, all of Flint; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Dewonna Balknight, Lucinda McGee, both of Flint and Tanique Williams of Louisiana. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her father, Orlander Summers; grandparents, Sandy and Marie Fitzpatrick, and Bettie Jimmerson; aunts, Ann Thompson, Maxine Gordon and Lilly Jimmerson; uncles, Mac Fitzpatrick and Butch Fitzpatrick; Louis Murphy, Eva Mae Murphy, Erie Summers, Tara K. Murphy, Zelma Murphy, Tyrone Murphy, Antwain Murphy, Juanita Pendleton, Theola Cloyde and Myrtle Montgomery. The family would like to express special thanks to Rev.
