VIVERETTE, Mrs. Ruby - Age 77, passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 at her residence.Family hour 10:30 AM Friday, June 21, 2019 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM, Pastor Patrick W. Sanders Sr., officiating Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Chapel 10:30 AM Friday. Mrs Viverette will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 2:00 PM-8:00 PM, with family present to receive friends from 6:00 PM-8:00 Thursday. Mrs. Ruby Jewel Viverette was born September 1, 1941 in Marshall, Texas, the daughter of Almetta Hopson and Sidney Reddick. She was a resident of Flint Twp., MI. Ruby retired from General Motors Corporation from the Medical Department as a Registered Nurse. She also held positions in the UAW. Ruby was a Master Gardener. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her plants. Mrs. Ruby Jewel Viverette leaves to cherish her memory: husband of 27 years, Billy Viverette; 5 children, Jamie (Darius) Bracy-Bradley, Corey Trice, Jason Rueben Trice, Janiece (Maurice) Lee, all of Flint and Billy (Felecia) Viverette Jr. of Mapleton, GA; 9 grandchildren, DeMarkus Bracy, Tiara Willingham, Corey Bracy-Bradley, Keyona Viverette, Jaylen Bradley, all of Flint, Alfred Francois, Billy Viverette III, Christopher Viverette of Mapleton, GA, William Trice of Detroit, MI and Briana Utsey of Bowling Green, KY; niece, Tracy (Marcos) Viverette-Purty of Northville, MI; aunt, Ollie Ruffin of Flint; sister-in-law, Wyvonne (Sylvester) Holt of West Bloomfield Hills, MI; brother-in-law, Wiley (Clara) Viverette of Brunswick, GA; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends of over 45 years, Genesee County Commissioner, Brenda (Floyd) Clack, Mrs. Shirley Dickerson and special daughter, Rhonda (Carlos) Benton, all of Flint. Mrs. Viverette was preceded in death by her baby son, Ruben Trice; mother, Almetta Hopson; father & mother-in-law, Wiley and Leatha Viverette; brothers-in-law, Willie and Anvis Viverette; and niece, Dedra Nicole Viverette.
