Mrs. Rosa Lee Myles

MYLES, Mrs. Rosa Lee - Age 79, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Maplewood Manor, Clio, MI. Family hour 1:30 PM Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM. Family and friends will assemble at the chapel 1:00 PM Tuesday. Public visitation will be during family hour only. Rose Lee (Gill) Myles was born in Winnsboro, South Carolina. She accomplished many things in her long-life span - She worked at General Motors, Cook and Cashier at Speedy’s Dairy on Pasadena, She graduated from Jordan College, Davenport College, was a Notary for the City of Flint and an Admin for Councilman Matt Taylor. In 1993, she attended and graduated from Cosmetology School for Manicurist and Nails. She wrote poems, loved drawing, and was such an incredible cook she made a business of it: Lee’s Kitchen - her most requested was her Lemon Meringue Pies, Sweet Potato Pies, Cornbread and Bean Soup, Baked Chicken and Mac and Cheese. She was also a model featured in a few local magazines and catalogs. Rosa attended Flint Southwestern High School. Rosa Lee Myles to cherish her memory: daughter, DaNielle Myles-Wellington and husband, Chris Wellington; sons, Reggie (Kelly) Myles, Minister Alan (Fermeko) Myles, Cleodia Myles Jr., Deena (Victor) Myles. and many others that she considered her children as well. Grandchildren, Brittany Speights and Son, Andre Speights Jr., Alan J Fyvie, Mariah (Lemar) Williams and children: Makari and Riley Williams, Amari Steward and Son Mekhi, Alayna Myles and Tiffany Myles and Son Marcus. Siblings: Bernice Lawson, Shirley Brewington, Joseph Gill and Patricia Moore and sister-in-law, Minnie Gill Nieces and Nephews: Lorraine Lawson, Sherry Gill, Lola Dirrell, LaSina Miller and Wallace, Andrina Moore, Alicia Wedlow, Monika Brewington and Lanice Lawson, Donny Wedlow, Myron Triplett and Leon Lawson II. Numerous other Great Nieces and Nephews, including: Special Nephew: Andre Dirrell Sr. Special friends: Dom (Ten Fu), Juanita Allen, Carla and Ellis Haley and the rest of the West Baker Street Family. Rosa was preceded in death by: her loving husband who cherished and gave her his all, Cleodia “In the Night” Myles, Sr.; parents, Rosa and Perry Gill Sr.; mother and father-in-law, Ada and Odell O. Miles Sr.; brother, Perry Gill Jr.; brothers-in-law, Leon “Bumper” Lawson Sr. and Rufus “Bruce” Brewington; and many other family members. The family would like to express special thanks to her caregivers, sisters, Bernice, Pat and Shirley; nieces, Lorraine and Rhonda; friends, Ms. RoShaun, Tyler White and Lisa Badour (Harmony Cares), also Julie (Heart to Heart); and her brother, DoDandy (RIP).
