Mr. Ronney Thedford III

THEDFORD, Mr. Ronney III - Age 19, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:00 AM Thursday, January 6, 2022 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM Min. Sean Brandon, officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home 10:00 AM Thursday. Mr. Thedford will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed during the family hour only.Mr. Ronney Thedford III was born May 30, 2002 in Flint, Michigan, the son of LuWanda Cooper and Ronney Thedford Jr. He was a resident of Flint his entire life. Ronney attended St. Paul Baptist Church where he gave his life to Christ. He also attended the Job Corps and Mt. Morris High School. Ronney worked retail at various stores. In his spare time, if he wasn’t hanging with family he was at home playing games (GTA) or helping his Paw Paw or playing with his little cousins who he adored so much. His interests was finishing school and leave when his brother finished high school. Ronney loved to tell jokes and wrestle with the little babies. He pretty much kept to himself. Mr. Ronney Thedford III leaves to cherish his memory: parents, LuWanda Cooper and Ronney Thedford Jr.; grandparents, George Cooper and Christal Cooper; sister, Ronika Thedford; 2 brothers, Ke’Juan Cooper and Tommie John Williams Jr., all of Flint; 3 aunts, April Monroe of Mt. Morris, MI, Regina Thedford and April Wysinger; 3 uncles, George Cooper Jr., Rodney McKnight and Alfred McKnight, all of Flint; cousins, Shuvelle Bridges, Shurelle Bridges, Destiny Smith, Brionna Jamerson, Marod McKnight, Ta’Teiona Rice, Xavier Ragland, Shabari Jamerson and Montana Gooch; a host of other relatives and friends including special family and friends, April Wysinger, Marcus Flowers, Montara Morris, Ta’Nia Griggs, Tekey Dixon, Taylor Brown, Jay’Lan Griggs and DaZinshay Goff of Jackson, MS. Mr. Thedford was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronney Thedford Sr. and Ruth McKnight; aunts, Quintina Smith and Regina Coleman and Lachandra Overton; uncles, Willie B. Cooper, BC Cooper Jr. and Jim Cooper Sr.; cousin, Malik Thedford; and great-grandparents, BC Cooper Sr. and Mamie Lee Cooper.
