JACKSON, Rondal Lavelle, Sr.,"Bone" - Age 40, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Family hour 10 a.m. Friday January 28, 2011 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. Henry L. Fuller, Jr., officiating. Friends and family will assemble at the funeral home 10 a.m. Friday. Mr. Jackson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12 - 8p.m. Thursday. Mr. Rondal Lavelle “Bone” Jackson, Sr. was born January 17, 1971 in Flint, Michigan, the youngest of 3 sons born to Johnnie Lee and Willie Mae Charles. Rondal attended Flint Public Schools and worked in customer service in Waterford, MI. Later, he met and married Erin Buckler. He was a member of the Street Riders Motorcycle Club of Flint and was an avid fisherman. “Ronald” as he was often called, liked going to the casinos, working on cars, barbecuing and traveling with family. He was a loving and caring husband, father and caregiver to his parents, nieces and nephews. “Ronald” was loved by everyone he came in contact with and will be sadly missed by all. He leaves to cherish his loving memory: devoted wife, Erin Jackson; 2 sons, Rondal Jackson, Jr. (SiToya Singelton) and Eron Jackson; grandson, Rondal E. Jackson; parents, Johnnie Lee and Wille Mae Charles; 2 brothers, Harold (Alisa) Jackson and Mike (Avanell) Jackson; 7 nieces, Brittany and Markita Jackson, Briana (Terrence) Green, Makalah Jackson, Kiara Martin, Alayna Buckler, all of Flint and Harisha Jackson of North Richland Hills, TX; 8 nephews, Harrell and Jalen Jackson, Bryant Osborn, Jr., Dejuan and Kennan Buckler, all of Flint, Kaidrian Biggs, Quavon and Zavian Williams, all of Fort Wayne, IN; 3 aunts, Clara (Clifford) Smith, Kitty Mae (Norman) Gray, all of Flint and Pearl (Isaac) Reed of Chicago, IL; 6 uncles, Walter “Koo-Koo” Jackson of Flint, Willie “Brazzie” Jackson, Leroy (Diane) Jackson and Noble Jackson, all of Memphis, TN, Curtis (Sandra) Jackson of Tunica, MS and T.J. Charles of Gould, AR; mother-in-law, Edith (Herbert) Biggs; father-in-law, Jesse (Dorothy) Kirksey, Jr., all of Flint; 4 sisters-in-law, Michelle (Michael) Buckler-Williams of Fort Wayne, IN, Angel (Bryant) Osborn, Sr., Liana and Inella Biggs, all of Flint; 6 brothers-in-law, Anthony (Shayla) Buckler, Stephan Buckler, Thomas, Brandon and Charles Biggs and Marcus Kirksey, all of Flint; a host of other special relatives and friends including uncle, Walter Jackson; niece, Markita Jackson, Deshon Davis, DeeDee and T.K. Cooper. Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his son, Karon D. Counts; grandparents, Willie and Lodenia Jackson, Rosa Lee Sanders and Monroe Charles; aunt, Louise Caldwell; and cousin, Patricia Gray.
