Mr. Ronald Leo Wright Sr.

WRIGHT, Mr. Ronald Leo Sr. - Age 63, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021 at his residence. Family hour 1:30 PM Friday, April 9, 2021 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM Pastor Andre Powell, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 PM Friday. Mr. Wright will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 Pm Thursday. Mr. Ronald Leo Wright Sr. was born August 15, 1957, in Flint, MI , the first born son of Leo and Irene Wright. Ronald attended school in Flint, MI and was a graduate of Southwestern High School. Mr. Wright worked at Buick Motor Division, Local #599, a division of General Motors Corporation, retiring on November 1, 2006. He enjoyed listening to jazz, cooking on the BBQ grill, gardening, making walking canes, playing with his grandchildren, watching TV and hanging with his friends. Ronald was a member of Vermont Christian Church, joining when he was a child and staying faithful though out his life. Mr. Ronald Leo Wright Sr. leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Barbara J. Wright of Flint; daughter, Demetria Wright of Racine, WI; 2 sons, Deontrae Wilson and Ronald (Kanesha) Wright Jr., all of Flint; 6 grandchildren, Kayla Wilson of Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan, Kamryn Wilson of Grand Blanc, MI, Ronald Wright III, Brooklyn Wright, Jayden Wright and Jeremiah Wright, all of Flint; He is also survived by his loving mother, Mrs. Irene Wright; sister, Cynthia (Marvin) Jones, Sr.; brother, Marvin (Sylvia) Wright of Katy, TX; mother-in-law, Mrs. Jean King of Racine, WI; 2 sisters-in-law, Carolyn (Richard) Douglas and Kimberly Brooks; 3 brothers-in-law, Renee (Deniseon) King, Michael Dotson and Jeff Dotson, all of Racine, WI; a host of other relatives and friends, including his cousin, Ricky Evans; special friends, Lamont Smith, Kevin Parish and Terry Patterson. Ronald was preceded in death by his loving father, Leo Wright; grandparents, Lee & Geneva Wright, Percy & Clara Lynch; father-in-law, Dan King; and sister-in-law, Sherrylynn Campbell.
