STITH, Mr. Ronald Charles - Age 53, passed away Friday, May 19 at his residence in Hoover, Family hour 10:30 Am Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM, Pastor Kenneth L. Stewart, officiating. Interment, Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy., Mt. Morris, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Chapel, 10:30 AM, Tuesday. Mr. Stith will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, with visitation from 12:00 PM-6:00 PM Monday. There will be no public viewing. Mr. Ronald Charles Stith “Ron” was born July 3, 1963 in Camden, Arkansas, the son of Demple and George Stith. He was a resident of Flint, Michigan and later moved to Bloomington, IL. Ronald was a member of Grace Emmanuel Baptist Church and Mount Mariah Christian Church. He graduated from Flint Central High School “Class of 1981” and attended Florida A & M University. Ronald was employed as a General Contractor. He enjoyed shooting pool, singing, cracking jokes and traveling. Ronald also enjoyed playing Dominoes and other games with his family. He was very intelligent, unique, loving, clever, passionate, funny and charming. Mr. Ronald Charles Stith “Ron” leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Brenda Harper-Stith; 2 daughters, Brittany Marie Stith and Brandy Nicole Stith; granddaughter, Sa’Layah Monae’ Stith, all of Bloomington, IL; mother, Demple Stith; brother, Derek (Ebony) Stith; 3 nieces, Shavanah Stith, Erin Long and Jennifer Phillips; nephew, Derrin Stith; mother-in-law, Lula Mae Williams; 4 sisters-in-law, Lee Anna Coleman, Elaine Steel, Cherrie Arnold and Sherrie Eason; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Terry Somlar, Deirdre Scott, Banks and Diane Maguire-McLee. Mr. Stith was preceded in death by his father, George Stith; brother, Tony Stith; brother-in-law, Andrew Steel; and special pet, “Blade” Stith. Thank You You cannot possibly know just how much your support our family, our many friends, our church families - have meant to us in this most difficult time. We thank you for your visits, your calls, the food, being there for us, the countless acts of kindness, the gorgeous floral expressions, your presence today, and the abundance of prayer which has sustained and ministered to us. May God bless each of you and sustain a lasting peace within your souls.
