BRACKETT, Mr. Ronald J. - Age 16, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with Isalamic Service from 10 a.m.-10:30 a.m. and funeral service commencing immediately at 11 a.m. Rev. Robert Jones, officiating. Interment Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10 a.m. Wednesday. Mr. Brackett will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday. Ronald Brackett was born October 12, 1996 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Jamica Brown and Ronald Brackett. Ronald loved playing basketball, enjoyed listening to music, being on the computer and socializing with his friends. He also loved spending time with his 4 brothers and sisters. Ronald loved to make people laugh; he was very popular. Ronald was a special, unique, intelligent young man who loved spending one on one time with his mother. He leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Jamica Brown (Jaquan Rose); grandmothers, Johnnie Caruthers, Dapheene Brown and Rhonda Brackett; grandfathers, Jerry Brackett, Sr., Robert Weatherly, and John Caruthers; sister, Aujanay Brown; 4 brothers, Jamonie Brown, Dalvion Boyd, Johntrice Robbins, and Jakalien Rose; aunts, Angela Brown, Sharon Brown, Jeanette Brown, and Shelia Hill; uncles, Laquawn Brackett, Jerry Brackett, Derrick Brown, David Brown, Tony Brown, and Bernard Brown; a host of cousins including, Dajuan, Karshawn, Tyquese, Jesse Jr., Patricia “PJ” Jamela, Shanell, Latrese, Precious, Terrell, David, Shronda, Anthony, Elvelyn, Johnnie, Derrick, Quin, Tifa, Alisha, Dikia, Octavia, LaKeysha, Latasha; and a host of other relatives and friends. Ronald was preceded in death by his: great-great-grandmother, Patricia Epps; grandfathers, John Mallet and Cliffton Davenport; aunt, Patricia a.k.a Pat Boone; cousins, Patricia Brown, ‘Big Beaver”, Reggie, Terri, Cliffon a.k.a Woody and Justin Brown.
