Mr. Robert Thomas Glenn

GLENN, Mr. Robert Thomas - Age 45, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2016 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Theron Wiggins officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 p.m. Monday. Mr. Glenn will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Robert T. Glenn was born March 20, 1971 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of James Cornell and Lillie Ann Glenn. He was a resident of Flint, Michigan and attended Flint Northern High School. Robert enjoyed fishing, basketball, football and music. He was always funny, happy and could put a smile on anyone's face and make them laugh. Robert was always willing to help someone in need. Mr. Robert T. Glenn leaves to cherish his memory: 4 daughters, Dorothea Cobb, Shelby Offord, Saneiya Glenn and Angel King; 4 sons, Damarius McMillan, Thomas Glenn, James Glenn and Quantrail Glenn, all of Flint; 2 step-children, Dasia King and Britney Terrell, both of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Rashard Cobb, Antoino, Te’leah, Sinceer, Amirh and Akeem Jones, Na’Riya Jamerson, Amari Walker, Destiny Player, Zy’kari and Kalese Offord, Ka’Miya Slaughter, Ja’Quavis, all of Flint, Trey, Hailey and Tyler King, all of Atlanta, GA; parents, James Cornell and Lillie Ann Glenn; grandmothers, Mattie B. Glenn of Indianapolis, IN and Margrett Pearson; sister, Tameka (Willie) Dixon; 2 brothers, Cornell Glenn, all of Flint and Justin Glenn of Indianapolis, IN; 3 nieces, Dameka (Blake) Garner, Tieasure Dixon and Tanaysha Glenn; 2 nephews, Brian Thomas, all of Flint and Jayden Glenn of Indianapolis, IN; 5 aunts; 5 uncles; great-aunt, Lillie Mae Green; god-brother, Jermaine Jackson; a host of other relatives and friends including special friend, Marvin Ware. Mr. Glenn was preceded in death by his son, Robert Cobb; grandfathers, Melvin Denning and Robert Glenn; aunt, Alfreda Glenn. The family would like to express special thanks to TV 12 News.
