WILLIAMS, Mr. Rickey - Age 57, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 1:30 PM Friday, November 10, 2023 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM. Rev. Sean Brandon, officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the chapel 1:30 PM Friday. Mr. Williams will lie in state in the chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Mr. Rickey Williams was born October 29, 1965 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, the son of Bessie Mae Sims and Tommy G. Williams. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Valerie William on September 30. 1989. Rickey attended Flint Community Schools. He had a strong love for boxing and kick boxing at Berston Field House. Rickey loved being with his family and friends, hanging out in Dewey Park playing basketball with his brothers (Day-l’s). He also loved his cars and cleaning them inside and out. He had an OCD for cleaning around the house. He loved shooting pool and listening to music. Rickey was a very loving person although he was very nonchalant, he really had a Pure Heart. He also loved fishing, joking around, talking stuff to people, dancing and Making Babies. Rickey was very hard headed and would not stay in anyone’s hospital Mr. Rickey Williams leaves to cherish his memory: Wife, Valerie Williams; Mother, Bessie Sims 14 Children, Shanté Childress, Eashon Williams, Porshe Robertson, Dearion Williams, KeOnta Williams, Rickey S.
