RELEFORD, Ms. Renee Michelle - Age 52, went home to be with the Lord, her parents and 4 sisters on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at McLaren-Flint. Family hour 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 p.m. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, G-5710 N. Saginaw Street. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Ms. Releford will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday. Ms. Renee Michelle Releford was born June 27, 1963 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late Homer and Doella (Brown) Releford. She was the youngest daughter of 5, Brenda K., Patricia Ann, (infant sister) Edna Jean and Ruby Jean whom all preceded her in death. Renee attended Dort Elementary, Emerson Junior High, Zimmerman Technical School, Northern & Central High School and the Genesee Area Skill Center. She worked various jobs throughout her life. Renee enjoyed life to the fullest, she loved riding motorcycles with the Wind Jammers, they traveled to various states for biker functions. Renee also loved attending the Kentucky Derby with her family & friends. She loved family gatherings which included Taco parties, listening to the Blues especially; Johnny Taylor and spending time with her grandchildren. Ms. Renee Michelle Releford leaves to cherish her memory: 3 sons, TaCarri C. (Amanda Bakos), Rashaud L. (Gabrielle Duncan) and Kevon T. Coleman (Seaira Duncan); father of her children, Clinton Coleman; 10 grandchildren, Maleah Weathersby, Zion Flynn, TaCarri Coleman, Jr., Jacob and Julius Coleman, KeNiaya and Kevon Coleman, Jr., Rashaud Coleman, Jr., Ke'shyria Tillis and Ra'Shiyah Coleman; niece, Monica M. Redwine (Ronnie Anderson); 2 great-nieces, Pvt. Ameera Redwine and Carlye Rutherford; 1 great-nephew, Kareem Rutherford, special cousin/brother, Roy Gene (Mary) Releford; special brother, Eugene Adams; special cousin/sister, JoAnn (Earl) Arterberry; aunt, Dorothy Green of Fort Smith, AR; special aunt, Linnie Bell Straham; a host of cousins including, Debra Holmes, Marilyn, Latoya and Shamika Brown, Paulette (Reno) Route, Clara Releford, Brenda Lee Osborn, Carla (Freddie) Kirkwood and Linda (J.P.) Ms. Releford was also preceded in death by her grandson, Te'Mauri Coleman; parents; 4 sisters, Brenda Kay, Patricia Ann and Ruby Jean; grandparents; brother-in-law, L.V. Redwine; special aunt, Rita Williams; special cousin, Artencie Briggs; god-sister, Diane Fields; 2 god-sons, Julius Rutherford and Darnell Howard.
