KIMBROUGH, Mr. Randy Steven - Age 52, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10AM Thursday, January 7, 2010 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11AM, Min. Douglas Wray officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10AM Thursday. Mr. Kimbrough will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Wednesday. Mr. Randy Steven “Be-Bop” Kimbrough was born March 18, 1957 in Hamilton, Ohio, the son of George and Ethel Kimbrough. Randy was a resident of Flint and attended Flint Public Schools. He loved playing congas, gardening, fishing and telling jokes. Randy rededicated his life to the Lord in 2008. He loved his family deeply and also did not mind helping out his neighbors when it came to shoveling snow or cutting grass, he just loved working in the yard. Randy also loved watching basketball and football. He will be truly missed by all who knew him, especially his family. Mr. Randy Steven “Be-Bop” Kimbrough leaves to cherish his memory: father, George Kimbrough of Flint; 5 sisters, Maria (Nolan) Santee of Flint, Georgette (Willie) Chapman of Flushing, MI, Marcetta Kimbrough of Lathrup Village, MI, Kim and Eva Keels, both of Flint; 2 nieces; 8 nephews; 3 aunts, Delores Allen, Ruth Troutman, both of Hamilton, OH and Yvonne Price of New York; great-aunt, Daisy Jordan of Hamilton, OH; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends, Ray Miller, Tony Bradshaw, Mrs. Velma Bradshaw, Cathy Minor, Willie Joyce and Bobby Thompson. Mr. Kimbrough was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Kimbrough; brother, Stanley Kimbrough; grandparents, Minnie and Dock Troutman of Hamilton, OH; and aunt, Mildred Franklin of Hamilton, OH. The family would like to express special thanks to all of our family and friends. A special thank you to the Valorie Lane neighbors, Ms. Cathy Minor and Mrs. Velma Bradshaw for looking out for our brother.
