LYLES, Mr. Quintevis - Age 19, passed away Monday, May 30, 2011. Family hour 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2011 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11 a.m. Pastor Lewis Randolph officiating. Interment Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Mr. Lyles will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8 p.m. Monday. Mr. Quintevis “Tae” JaVonte Lyles was born March 18, 1992 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Quinlandra Lyles and Terry Gray, Jr. “Tae” accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. He attended Zimmerman Adult High School, where he completed his general education and was to receive his diploma June 14, 2011. “Tae” was very active in dancing, music and loved playing basketball. He also loved helping others; taking care of his mother and daughter. Mr. Quintevis “Tae” Lyles leaves to cherish his memory: fiancée`, Anguaneice Jones of Flint; daughter, Ahmorea DeAcia Lyles; parents, Quilandra Lyles and Terry Gray, Jr.; stepfather, Nathaniel Grover; grandparents, Rochell (Scotty) Lyles, Doris Gowder and Terry (Denise) Gray, Sr.; great-grandparents, Elmore Lyles, Mary “Tweety” McNeal and Mary Mitchell; 3 brothers, Terry Powell, Albert Lee and Alerio Wilson; 11 aunts, Quishanda and Quimeailia Lyles, Endy, Andrea and DeSedes McNeal, Monique Gowder, Dorothy Nelson, Erica, Raynia and Latarie Gray and Michah Evans; 8 uncles, Scott Bryant, Jaheel Morgan, Julius and Jermaine Gray, Shawn Gray, Anthony and Romeo McNeal and Calvin Munerlyn; 4 great-aunts, Laura Campbell and Lucille (Michael) Myles, Lisa Alexander, Shonney Porter and Flossie Lee Woodson; great uncles, Elmore Campbell, Willie (Barbara) Campbell and Samuel McNeal; a host of other relatives and friends including special cousins, Tameka Campbell; aunt, Beverly Davis; godmother, Marie Speight; Jaquetta Powell, The Looney Toones, R.L.S.G., the Top Dawgs, Shalita Windom, Leo and Domonique Stringer. Mr. Lyles was preceded in death by grandfather, Anthony McNeal; great-grandmother, Flora Campbell; special and favorite uncle, Johnie “Michael” Lyles; and 2 great aunts.
