WADE, Princess Shauni Marissa - Age 6, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2009 at her residence. Family hour 2PM Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Harris Memorial C.O.G.I.C., 4317 Lippincott Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 3PM, Pastor Eric C. Bogan officiating. Interment 10AM Thursday at River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Church 2PM Wednesday. Princess Shauni will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 1PM-8PM Tuesday. Princess Shauni Marissa Wade was born December 24, 2002 in Grand Blanc, MI, the daughter of Davey LaRon and Neisha Wade. Shauni was a very spunky and feisty little girl. Throughout her affliction, she was a fighter, she was independent and never gave up. She never complained unless her pain was unbearable, but now she has received her divine healing. She’s God’s Little Angel. Our Princess Shauni wanted to be a Fashion Designer and Make-Up Artist. She was indeed just that by giving makeovers to her many clients. Her sense of fashion and make-up was inspired by her Granny (LaVada Wade). She was blessed to have her dream fulfilled by going to Disney World, Build-A-Bear, Sephoria to get a makeover and going swimming. Princess Shauni Marissa Wade leaves to cherish her memory: parents, Davey LaRon and Neisha Wade; 2 sisters, Gabrielle Williams and Jadan Wade; grandparents, LaVada Wade, John Sanders, Wallace and Therena Elliott; 2 aunts, Tamera Wade and Briahna Elliott; 3 uncles, James Wade, Terry (Adrina) Williams of Washington and Ian Elliott; a host of great aunts, uncles and cousins; god-parents, Noel and Caroline Pieters, special god-parent, Mother Ethel Dumas; other relatives and friends including, her buddy, D’Asia McCloud, Mr. and Mrs. Rozanski, Ms. Tran’s Kindergarten Class 2009 and Mrs. Reaves’ Pre-School Class 2008. Princess Shauni Marissa Wade was preceded in death by twin sisters, Amyiah and Mariah; grandmother, Cathia Williams, great-grandparents, Lee and Mattie Elliott, Lowell Williams, June Pickett, Mr. and Mrs. Sanders, Mr. and Mrs. James Ingersoll; great-great grandmother, Exerine Crayton. The Wade family would like to express special thanks to: Pastor Eric Bogan and Harris Memorial Church family, Pastor Marvin Jennings and Grace Emmanuel Church family, Bunche School and staff, along with other Flint Community Schools, Genesys Rehab-Acute family, Tracie Brady, Faithway Day Care, GASC Technology Center, Dr. Mody and U of M staff, Celeste (Tots ‘N Lots), the Make A Wish Foundation and everyone in the City of Flint and the surrounding area who have blessed our family in their giving.
